Where does it say you have to actually attack or rob? Only says ON TO BATTLE. Nothing about battling rivals or anything. Battle what? LOL. Beyond vague tournament this time around.

Your right that its not really a contest, but not everyone who has been playing since the game came out will get it. A lot of people think ingame cash and money buildings are useless and don't really focus on IpH. Or they just hate being robbed and only build the buildings that are easy to collect. I see this "event" as sort of a reward or 'handout' if you want to call it that, for the players that have invested all the time in building up their hoods and have had the stones to keep at it when its much easier to be a 12/24/48 person or a person that doesn't have any money buildings at all since you don't have to worry about being robbed as much. Why not throw a bone to all the players who have to wake up each day and say "F#&K my nightclubs got robbbed again!!" It gives them a reason not to sell them so that there are actually people to rob in this game.

Every event caters to a different crowd. Those who chose to PvP, those who PvE'd (what event will come for those players?), and now those who have camped and econobuilt. Keep 'em coming, I say!
