329 Gold

I've just done a quick forum search and didn't find anything, so thought I would post (I'm sorry if this has been answered before).

Several times today I have attacked people for 329 gold. People who should have given me considerably larger amounts. For example, one guy had 250k gold out and my eyes lit up, however I got 329 gold 5 attacks in a row.

Is this a bug, or is 329 the maximum amount of gold you can steal from someone?

I am only getting 180 gold (Level 9) when before I was maxing out at 4000 gold per attack.

I just attacked someone and got 1650 in gold so 329 is definitely not the cap. I don't know what the max vault is (I'm only at 33,000) so maybe people have more gold vaulted than you think.

Even if this was the case though the amount I received would drop below 329, it wouldn't stay consistent over 5 attacks

No. That's not how it works. I posted about this already..... Somewhere. Lol. Anyway, I emailed funzio and they said that it's definately a bug. I downloaded the new update and I haven't noticed yet. I haven't found a rival with enough to test. I am lvl51. And the way it works is that you get 10% of unvaulted gold with a max cap of 10k. So no matter what, you should not get the same amount for 5 attacks in a row. It should be less each time. I was also getting the 329 for 5 attacks. Actually yesterday, I was able to attack someone 7 times but 329 won each time. I don't know. Definately a bug. Try the update. Make sure you reset your device after installation of update and if that doesn't work then delete and reinstall. You won't lose anything. It's all on funzios server. If it still doesn't work then contact customer support because that is not right! Bug. Hope I could help.

The 180 seemed pretty consistant across a number of players. I was atacking high gold players and getting the same amount so this doesn't seem related to the vault.

I think max vault is around 333,000. But could have changed with updated version.

highest vault Ive seen is a guy in the mid 60s level with the vault at 115k - he must have got an early start in Canada like Ghost. No one else Ive seen has been anywhere close.

Well, here is what I notice from playing all 3 games in the funzio line. Depending on your level, you are capped at how much gold you can steal at one time. So, the lower level you are, the lower your stealing cap (I think)

Would those in question please state their current level and allies? We can probably do the math and find out per level how much you can steal per attack.....

I took >>5k in one hit from several people in the early 20s. There was no cap when the game first came out; they have certainly put a cap in from the version 2x ago. I don't ever see the cap at our level (60s) since no one keeps that much unvaulted gold at all.


One datapoint, since Ive been keeping my stats for a month in an add allies thread: L34 took ~5.5k in one hit from a member of this board (40k total). I had done that prior to a couple of others as well.

I am now Level 10 (wanted to participate in the Rune event) and have a new cap. It is now 250 gold. I did try to reinstall, but this didn't fix the problem.

If you are running new updated version, have reinstalled, reset, and restarted several times..... WRITE AN EMAIL TO CUSTOMER SUPPORT!! They are very willing to help resolve all issues. And their turnaround time is getting way better. Good luck.

Ha you're fine, it was my fault for hanging on to that much money... I couldn't decide what to spend it on. Just lucky I had the app open when you started attacking

No, that's not how it works. You get 10% of the gold which is not in the vault. If you don't get this, then you suffer from a bug. See other replies what to do.

There is a cap, Coog beat me twice the other day and recieved 9900 gold each time when I had about 120k+ unvaulted. The fact that he recieved the same amount both times provides soild evidence of a cap, the second bounty should be less if it is strictly 10% of my unvaulted cash

He was around lvl 54 I believe

To put this debate to rest, there most definitely is a cap of 9900....because I just stole it 5 or 6 times in a row before the amount began to lower

Yeah I haven't had the bug for a while but had several hits for 9900 yesterday. Found some poor guy with 200k out, helped me get my first manor!

I had the 329 cap bug, too. I contacted support and they told me I was playing with the old version of the game, so I updated. It was mostly cleared up, came back briefly, but now seems to be gone for good (about 5 or 6 days straight working fine).

Kinda stinks because I missed out on some juicy gold, but what can you do?

A couple of weeks ago a attakced a players that had over $190k, and got $9,999 every hit I did for a total of $50k, (DAMN!!!! the darn 5 hit limit was in place, otherwise I would have taken $120K)

So I think the max you can take per hit is $9,999
