It's the same as MW. Some reported the event started like 9 plus hours ago. Check your version of KA as I believe you might have to update it to version 1.2.

I finally got it, but event has left 6 days and 14 hours, already lost 10 hours if it started at midnight
oh well, I will be happy if I get to 7 gems, but won't kill myself trying like I usually do in MW, lol
DAMN!!!!!!!! the medium option cost me $1,900, that is very expensive for KA, even if I am lv-76, still too expensive

How hard is it I have tried following my goals - didn't get $hit, went to last map to hit the high xp beasts - didn't get $hit!!

So far I have found one box and levelled up twice, how messed up is that????

I got KA to get the helicopter. I enjoy MW way more and hardly am ever on KA. The magic and monsters kind of bore me. But having said that, I am probably ten times stronger on KA that MW, because everything I learned on MW I incorporated into KA.

When I go out attacking on KA I don't even bother to check the defenders defense stats, because I know I will beat him or her, even those who may have a few more allies than me.

My KA base camp has all the money buildings and most unit buildings a few of them have been upgraded and are closing in on level ten. The upgrade times just don't bother me because I am not on KA as much. But when I check it I upgrade. I usually have lots of money on hand and because of that get attacked all the time and never lose.

It's the complete opposite of MW, where I have to check the other guys stats before I even think of attacking. I am also still correcting my earlier mistakes. Just enjoy MW way more than KA, but like I said I am much more successful on KA.

Been PVPing and PVEing a couple hours straight now, still not seen a runebox let alone opened one, and the event didn't start for me till way after everyone else!

Go for the highest monster you can kill in one hit. This gives you more chances and prevents you from lvling too fast

Hey all, so far at 2 gems, 4 sorry and 1 rune box in hand. Man they really hard to find. I'm going to have to try the den or Orc camp..

Only loaded this game to get the chopper in MW really, just been playing the PVE mainly since to have a totally different strategy to MW.

My poor lil guy is getting smashed over there:p

But has no trouble finding rune boxes. Haven't tried doing the one hitters as yet, I usually just do a run on the strongest in each map and have them with a last hit left on them. Then I do a run, grab a heap of loot buy or build and come back "home" to MW.....

Last run through I hit four of them and got three boxes.

I have 4 Gems and 8 Rune Boxes on hand.
I am just doing the normal levels @ "Shipwreck Cove" and seem to get a Rune Box almost every time I slay something.
And for me it is also: either a Gem or a Sorry - I have had 8 Sorrys and 4 Gems until now.
No honor, grunts, money or other units.

Given how difficult I'm finding it to get rune boxes to drop at L27 (was L25, levelled up this much just to get four boxes), I was very upset that one of the "prizes" I got was a "Wild Man" with 6/4 stats. The only weaker units in my inventory are those I purchased in fulfillment of the game's goals.

Aidan, maybe u should try opening them on the half hour. It seems to work better on KA. I got about 60% open rate with the medium (as opposed to less than 20% with the same option on MW) What lv are u btw?

Luke, nah no rhyme or reason to anything for me. I attack them all and just get lucky sometimes.. I on the other hand have still not gotten lucky with the Pvp.

I had the same problem Luke. I was hours attacking everyone and doing pve and nothing. I was so frustrated! I just got my first to boxes 1 hour ago. To see some players with 7 or 8 while I didn't get even my first one. Btw, I just tried again and another sorry.

Well atleast I wasn't the only one lol. The drop rate should be a bit higher. The drop rate should be set the same for each lvl bracket.

I have got about 4 from PVP too by change while doing the "H" missions
but mostly I concentrate on the higher maps I can enter and somewhat kill monster with 2-3 hits max

if so, then just give a few minutes and enter and exit the game a few times, then the rune box will appear

Yes!!!, those are the highest stat for the units in this event, glad I am at this level :)

Well, I started quite behind so I'm playing catch up. At the moment I have 5 gems. If I manage to get two more today I will be quite happy. I also received my first looting which was a joke, a skeletal guard 3a/4d. I can't even bring to a battle as my weakest unit is stronger.

See, your getting there. :) Missed your post couple pages back, sorry. I'm level 20 now. Events pushing me on up. Maps is only place I've found boxes and Ive only worked first 3 pages of them. Boxes have come from any of those.
Btw: he knows who runs the house.. We just let you guys think you have a hand in things. :D

This happened to me once playing MW. I just closed the game down, reopened and the crate was there so I am assuming you can do the same for KA and that will fix the issue. This doesn't happen very often from what I've seen after playing many, many events.

I have burned through my energy 5 times in the last few days and have only found 2 boxes from PvE. None from PvP. Seems the drop rate for me is <.00001. Certainly am not having the same success finding boxes in KA as in MW where I end up with loads of extras. I'm out of this one and hope these events are less frequent in the future.

Haha I knew that Ev. Yeah I'm pretty sure I should get it. I wish I could have more then 1 box on hand at all times tho :( It's know getting hard for me to find them. the max I got on hold was 8 but keeping average of 4. Most been on normal missions. I just 4 on pvp. I levelled 3 times already. I usually buy the buildings before moving to another level but it's getting hard.
