Slow game/lag on iphone4

The last few weeks Crime city has been acting up on my end.
The problem mostly occurs when going to rival hoods, fighting, etc.

Sometimes the fight goes into slow motion and takes about 20seconds.
When i win a fight (and the money goes to top left and RP goes to bottom right) those things also go slo-mo.

I'm using an Iphone4 (MC605NF - IOS 5.1.1)
Crime City 2.2.1 - Build 200 - 20120529_0

Anyone else experiencing these issues and/or knows a solution??

It used to happen quite frequently for me on the iphone 4. I just used to close the game completely and restart.
Havent seen it happen at all on the 4s.

This is a very, very, very longstanding bug that Funzio have failed to fix despite releasing several updates...at least 6 months now it has existed. It is a joke really. The bug/lag effect will manifest itself 100% of the time if you go to the 'Visit mafia' screen and then return to the game. It does not occur on iPad. The only fix is to re-start CC.

ok, at least now i know my phone isn't failing.
in the past i didn't do much fighting & robbing and i didn't experience the problem.

like they don't clear out the previous rival hoods from the memory or something.
