Rune box question

I'm not sure I understand the rune boxes. I don't play the other Funzio games. I fought some monsters and got one, should I open it? There was mention of 'intervals 3,5, etc' and I'm not sure what that meant.

I'm hoping some of you experienced Funzio gamers can help explain this event.

Yes, open them. Read this guide from CC's first event. Remember using gems doesnt guarantees rare gems it only guarantees the box will open and the more rare gems you get the harder it becomes to get more. 8, 9 and 10 will be the hardest.

hi some questions as I am new to this event too

once a runebox is opened,
1) u get a rare gem and said runebox disappears?
2) if u don't get a rare gem, then u have to wait an hour to get it?

if u do get a rare gem, can u then open another runebox within the hour or do u still have to wait for another hour to get it?

You can pay 20 gems to reset the timer or wait the hour.
