Yup, that poses a problem. Depends on which game your more heavily vested in.

I am more focused on KA than MW overall in time and RM so I'll have to pass on MW overtime.

They wont give us exact figures but they do say the percentage chance of getting the item decreases as you get more and that the 10th is 1% or less per try but greater than 0%. (as per CC Mark)

Having done all of the events on all three games I can atest to the fact that the first seven or so are not too difficult but 8, 9, and 10 take persaverence and luck. In game premium currency does NOT ensure a 10th item win. People have spent hundreds of real dollars and failed while others have used the middle option all the way and won. It really is a game of chance.

No they accumulate and you dont need to do anything the item is awarded automatically and on to the next.

The item awards are tiered. If its the same as CC and MW it should be ..

[1-20] [21-50] [51-80] [81+] , so each bracket has different prizes with different stats.

Yep I can vouch for that. SO far i haven't reached the 10 item in any of the MW events using the middle option but others have got all 10 using the middle option with two days to spare - it all comes down to luck!!!

from my experience with these events, even if you half butt them you WILL get the 7th unit item. So, for the noobies out there, don't fret, maintain your normal sleep schedule, and open boxes whenever you get the chance (Not in class though!) Also, DO NOT buy gems. I can't stress this enough!! Gems will not guarantee that you get the item! It just guarantees that you open the box! In the end it all comes down to luck so GL to all of you!

Sure, its always best to start hunting boxes on the quest maps cuz they are random drops then after the first few hours or so once people have had a chance to get them then you will start to see em drop while attacking or raiding rivals.

They must possess them for you to be able to steal them (still random chance to steal)unlike the maps which are truly just random.

Also, look for kingdoms that have all buildings collected except the 5 minute building (cottage). This usually means they are active at that moment and have a better chance of possessing that which you desire.

That's highly likely but since funzio hasnt provided an official event post for KA we cant be sure. If you tried to open/close the app multiple times and got nothing then i would say yes.

You can get to lvl 10 real quick though. I would go for it. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, I only PvP for boxes if I'm doing TR's at the same time but I cant find enough rivals with 342 or more allies to do that with so I'll stick to map quests and raids for the foreseeable future.

It appears the brackets for prizes I listed in post #15 arent accurate.

I noticed just now that my items stats have increased. I believe it happened when i hit lvl 76.

We'll have to wait for official clarification on KA's brackets but rest assured if your stats are different from other players its a level thing and not a glitch.

That bites. If you have done the update(which normally doesnt carry the event) and have tried closing out the app all the way and restarting it multiple times then you can either try deleting and reinstalling the app or sending a ticket to support and waiting.

If you decide to delete the app make sure you at a minimum record your in game name and id number just in case.
The data is stored server side so you wont lose your place but occasionally (very rarely) people have problems and have had to get support to put the acct back.

Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Usually you need to wait a day to get any from pvp. They have to have them to steal them. People seem to be having trouble with the event popping up. Concentrate on pve for now. Took me two whole energy bars to get two drops. One from large Orc tent and one from a boss on second set of maps.

Directly while doing quest. But I think it's quite ineffective since you don't know who has runeboxes. The drop rate on rune boxes while killing monsters is just higher.

Very nice. The mechanic seems to be the same as MW. I just unloaded 10 stamina doing blind attacks; it yield plenty of gold but no rune. Yea, I might have to start profiling players to get better results.

Just updated KA and finished up the MW event to see this one. But I have a feeling that I won't be finding many rune boxes, for the fact I'm lvl 12 and have been camping out for awhile. Been burning up pvp and pve without one box yet..

And on another note. I can't even see the 10th item bonus unit. Just shows loading and 0 stats lmao. I have that problem with armors too, not showing up.

I have been doing some PVP in search of some rune. Either there's a lot of people with low vault or the vault is broken. I attack several rivals and they are giving around 25x gold. It's the same amount for subsequent attack. These rivals don't have a lot of gold to begin with. Is anyone encounter similar experience?

I've had two people attack me in the last hour - much higher rate than normal for me. Both had half the stats and they lost. If they had a gem or rune box, would they lose it or do I need to counter attack? When doing PVP, do you get a Rune Box or a gem?

You're not alone. Yesterday I went through at least 12 energy bars before I got my first drop. Once the first one fell, the drop rate improved a lot. Can't say the same for the open rate though.

Somebody just "stole" a Rune Box from me, then when I was attacking someone else since the person who "stole" it was too strong, another one popped up for me but not from the attacks, so I think I "won" one while successfully fending off an attack. Maybe? I know people said you can't lose 'em by attacking, but it seems like someone who just tried to attack me just did. It wasn't in the attack notes or anything though. I don't know.

I've opened dozens of boxes, but it appears that it maxes out at 7 jewels when using the ancient spell (middle option). I have received several magic units and even gold after opening the boxes, but to get more than 7 jewels you have to use gems to open the boxes. Jewels are the only thing that allows you to get the Devil Warrior (9) or Inferno Hydra (10). I realize my percent chance goes down after 7 but this is just pitiful. My last 15 opens failed. This whole rune event is a SCAM to get us to buy gems using "real" money. I am very disappointed!!!!

I have frikken 35 rune boxes and stuck on 8 runes. I've consistently used the gold option to open my boxes because I refuse to buy gems :) In any case, I've been as persistent as I could and now I have too many rune boxes and probably not enough time to open them all. Guess it isn't all bad. First try I got a rune, second try I got 20K gold. Hit 20K gold twice and 4K gold maybe like 5 times. Pretty sure I broke even with how much I've spent on opening the boxes. I am happy to hear that other people are having the same problem as I am. Nice to know I am not alone. At the beginning I was getting runes pretty easily and thought I had plenty of time to get all 10 necessary runes. How wrong I was as soon as I got my 7th rune. Getting the 8th rune took an entire day and I am sure getting the 9th and 10th will be exponentially harder. Guess I can't complain, it is a free game afterall.

I don't know whether or not I feel lucky for having 8 runes. Many players are stuck on 7 runes, but I get nothing extra with my 8th rune! haha. At least I'm closer to that 9th rune!

Currently at 9 gems right now. Of all the events I have done on MW, I seem to always get stuck at nine. Won two, but all the rest were 9 whatever, except for one which was 8.

Hopefully this event I will luck out and get the 10th as the prize is pretty cool.

Yep, for runes number 8-10, it'll all come down to luck whether ur using gems to open the rune box or not.

if you only use the "free option" chances of opening a box are slim no none most of the time
you are better of spending the money, in the end, is game money that you will get back in a couple of days at the most, but the chance of the rewards is much better
I suggest you keep using the medium option - I did spent $1,925 per try and was lucky to get the 10# gems
I still try to open with cash (now it cost me $2000) for a change of getting honor points, more cash (which reduces my cost) and some other units

I'm thinking of paying $10 IRL for the 110 gems. Thoughts? Anyone have an opinion? (Remember - It's my money I'm thinking about spending, not yours.) :rolleyes:

I have also frequently been stuck on 9 items on many events, its nice to see first hand its possible to get the 10th without gems.

No problem there. I don't have "extra" money. It would just be the $10 "one-time" (for the event) purchase. I don't like spending real money on games, except for initial purchase cost, when applicable. It WAS my birthday last week, so maybe I can guilt my wife into supporting me doing it. (Never happen! LOL)

Me too. It took me this long to get to 8. 8?( Oh well. I just spent $10 to at least TRY to make sure I get at least 9 for the fiend lord. That's all the money I will ever spend on this game though. I'm good about stuff like that. Happy hunting!!!

Been on 8 gems for nearly 3 days now.

Event is nearly over. Been opening middle box every time (costs 1750 each time now - been opening them as close to every hour as I possibly can, must have opened loads) and getting the feeling I am not going to find any more gems.

Got approx 90 rune boxes in the bank and not enough time to use them.

No way am I going to pay for gems, not in a game that is still in "beta test" with parts of it that dont work properly.

Also stuck at 7 and stupidly bought jems and opened another 6-7 boxes with no luck! Just got some extra units and a bit of cash!! Very hard to get over 7-8 :-/

I have to say it is possible to get #9 gem. Will I get #10, not so sure. However I just got #9. I did buy $10 worth of gems to reset the timer, but that didn't help me at all.

Keep plugging away -- worse case scenario you get more honor, gold and units.

Albeit it took me 4+ days to go from 8 to 9.

Earlier this morning i got my 8th Gem, time checked 07 hrs and a couple of minutes left before the event ends.

And just now i tried to open another box (sorry better luck next time...) and i was surprised the time left become 1 Day 04 hrs left... did Funzio extend the event?... hopefully i'll get the 9th and 10th before it ends. :)

Good luck! I'm staying up to open my last one as well. Maybe if I'm lucky there will be a glitch and I have 100% chance of opening the box AND I get my last gem! I was stuck at 8 for nearly the whole of the event, got my ninth and not meaning to, got my hopes up that maybe I can get that tenth one.... lol

hey folks... i'm a MW forum guy so i don't keep tabs over here really, but how many know #10 so far... it seems that the faucet was almost completely turned off on the third day of the KA inaugural even??? ...but 3 indestructibles for a free player isn't terrible!!! LOL



edit: btw... in MW events, if you leave your app running, you can continue to try to open your stash of boxes until you close it or it crashes... i would suspect the same here for KA...

My iPad is now a KA game system for at least the next day or so. Unless the game crashes. I still have 54 boxes left and I've attempted to open 4 since the event officially ended. All sorry's btw. I'm hoping to get some HP out of it at the very least. I could care less for more worthless units or allies.

LOL @ "bad date experience". I usually don't have horrible luck in OT, but my game just crashed ~10 minutes ago. :/ Made it to nine gems, though, without any sleep loss from the event so I'm happy. Now back to the CC event...

Funzio may have 'fixed' the program and it may no longer be possible to get the 10th item at OT. Just now, after pressing the middle option, the program thought for ~5 seconds and while I was thinking the Hydra was coming my way... I got a 2nd Devil Warrior instead! Somebody please contradicts me... please.

I was on the last gem for over 2 days (including extended day) and never ended up getting it.... I got the first 7 gems within 2 days of the event starting.
