Winter Warmth Quest Problems

The quest is to "Kill Bears until you collect 1 Bear Fur in Eagle's Peak"

well I've been killing different creatures there non-stop and still no bears. I get lots of Dire Bears but no normal bears.

Is there a specific creature there you have to kill to make normal bears pop? Any help appreciated.

Do you still get the wolves?

I get dire wolves a lot, and occaisionally I'll get a normal wolf. With the normal wolves, I believe those do pop, but only after I knock out an crystal golem. the only mob I have not re-defeated is the Frost Giant, but that is an "expensive" guess to re-kill.

This one took me forever - I didn't get bears that often but finally got it finished this morning.

Having trouble finding BEARS in the "rare" quest. Does "x" number of Dire bears= 1 bear?

Just keep tapping the other NPCs & the bears will show up... I think I had almost finished that map before they showed up, same deal with the rock scorpion rare goal.

I don't know if this helps but I killed my 2 Crystal Golems that spawned 1 Bear.
At the time I had no wolves, dire wolves or troll giants. It might be random, but it took me 2 days to start tracking and it dropped on my first one... Lol

I killed some regular bears in the beginning and killed more than 100 dire bears (level 3 already) and I still didn't get any bear fur. how many do I have to kill to get the fur?

its random and is based on how lucky you are.
