I have 178 TAPJOY Gold, where should I spend it

I took the advice of everyone and bought the Composite factory with my first batch of TapJoy Gold -- one of the smartest moves I made. (Note it wasn't my first choice, but it was the best choice)

As of tonight, I have finally accumulated a second batch of gold -- 178 TapJoy gold -- and was wondering what you would do with it if you were in my position. I have already bought the Composite factory. I am (at this moment) a free player, but may be tempted with the right deal to buy gold, but will (unless I win the lottery) be a low gold spender.

Here are my options:

1. Gamble and buy 3 crates

2. Purchase the best unit my gold will buy (Note: I am UK). Which one would you recommend?

3. Purchase a gold money building (if so which one in your experience is the best choice?)

4. What you need to purchase will cost you more than a 178 gold and you need wait and keep collecting gold -- what unit or building would you buy if this is your recommended choice.

Extra money is better than 3 commons. Unless you want to take the game for a rare.

Like these guys are saying either go for a gold money building or 3 pack of crates if you want gold units. You might get lucky even if you were to get 2 commons and 1 uncommon it woul still be worth it. Crates are more of a gamble now. So it's up to you. Let us know if you get crates, to see what ya got :)

I'd save it till you know what you want according to your own play style and strategy. If you're patient, it will build up nicely. I've collected over 900 from tapjoy to date. I have 425 sitting on hand, and growing. As of now I'm saving for a super carrier, but I might use it for the next top 500 event to give me an edge over people like BigFlan who blew all his gambling on crates.

That's a tough one. I would either save up more to get the geothermal plant or save and wait some more to see the next crate sale,maybe better units,better prices,better odds,who knows. I know one thing, I don't like these crates

Yo warfiend I actually did not blow my Tapjoy gold I got 5 very good units and did not lose anything most of the the commons I got were lopsided units except for the stupid fast attack buggy

Eventually he will rank up and ally up and want it. Also, it doesn't matter how many allies you have. While allies limit the units in battle, it will still give a boost. If Flan's defense is 5,000, a 20% boost will give him a additional 1,000 defense.

When was the last time you say a unit with 1,000 defense? Never, so Flan's plan is not well cooked.

I'd save for a geothermal, I think it's the best gold money building, with the diamond mine coming in second. The IPH boost is the best if I remember correctly. Also, I think it looks good with the bright orange.

I did buy a new crate got a uncommon so that was good.
Most poeple come up with everything already but i havent seen this idea yet.
Id save it for the next pvp tourny, that amount of gold on refills = epic item. Only thing is no one really knows when the next one is:(

I got lucky, I bought the three crates pack a few weeks ago on my second day ever playing. Got two rares desert fox, submarine. It shaped the rest of my game. Unfortunately I think I got a little ahead of myself. Can't get vault to keep up. Kept allies low. At 12. Attack and defense over 2100. I say go with crates.

If you go the crate option, assuming you can buy a 3-pack, you'll add a permanent stat increase (on average) of about 150 - 200+ depending how lucky you are.

If you go with the gold money building option, ideally the geothermal plant, you'll add a strong boost to you're economy (especially when you upgrade). With this economic boost you could potentially buy strong cash units that will eventually exceed the total stats gained had you chosen the crate option.

You can't go wrong either way. Crates give you an instant stat boost, and gold money buildings help you in the long run.

Depends on how often you want to collect. I think 56000 every 6 hours is the best option. That's just my opinion though

Any other thoughts. I looked and the geo thermal is one of the cheapest gold buildings and it has one of the besst pay outs per hour.
