Yes great thread! I'm gonna be really proud to be a American tomorrow!!! Everybody have fun and be safe. But remember the most important thing, it's not about the BBQ and drinking and all that others stuff. It's about all the great men and women who served our great country for our freedom! Also who ever served our great country on this website I thank you for what you did, because with out you guys there is no land of the free! Thanks again.

great post man... Thank you to all those who have sacrificed for our freedom!!!

...an additional note on flag etiquette for all who have the short 5 foot poles that are mounted at a 45 degree angle on a wall or column. since you cannot fly these at half-staff, you should have 2 black streamers attached at the top of the flag, just under the finial. You can use black ribbon that is the width of the stripes and the same length as the flag.

Thank you to all who have served and are still serving our Country.
We remember and We honor you.

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can, that I ever frowned
And remember only the smile.

Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun.

Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day.

Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay,

And come in the shade of evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west
Stand for a few moments beside me
And remember only my best.

Semper Fidelis to all my devils who devoted their life's for us.
Hoooah to all those brave soldiers who shed blood.
Booyah to all the corspmen who gave hell to war.

A big motivated oooohrah to Merica where at least I know I'm free.

God bless the USA and the ones we lost. Happy Memorial Day.

Inscribed on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Arlington National Cemetery:
"Here lies in honored glory an American soldier known but to God."

Honored and never forgotten.

No. My handle is from a fictional character in the Game of Thrones, but I spelled the name wrong. Should be Jon not John.

My grandfather fought at Guadalcanal. My dad in Korea and four uncles in Nam. Like for you in FL, today's an important day for us out here in Cali.
