I don't know if this has been discussed but has any of you math wiz's calculated the best attack unit for the best gem cost? The best bang for the buck. Just eyeing it, I'm looking at the fire golem perhaps. The current Hyperborean Hermit or the Warlord are also close to double attack vs the defense

The crates are probably the most gem-efficient way of getting gem units.
