Where do you get the siege tank? 410/290 stats low casualty rate so it seems to be a loot unit! That is a crazy unit and I don't think I've ever seen a gold unit that good. Probably a boss in the new maps, but does anyone know where?

It is a great unit, but I think it is from a boss on one of the new maps. It will take over 10000 energy to get and I would need to upgrade my barracks to lvl 10 to get the unit for that opponent. That in itself would be 2 or more weeks just to do that for a unit that is 20/7 when my lowest attack unit I bring to battle is 31. It doesnt seem worth the time and money needed for this unit. If funzio made the unit requirements for these new maps stealth bombers and aircraft carriers it would be better for me. Spending 10 million on units I probably will never use is a waste.

[edit] The one I saw was the "Siege Tech Tank" and was black/orange/yellow camo. Cool looking unit, 244/190 a/d. This a crate item.

That is a trophy unit really if you think about how long it will take to get it if it does require 10k energy and 10m+ money but that still isnt bad for a unit like that!

I see players with the blue and white ship that is a loot unit with stats in the 300 range. There is also a ship that looks like a cruiser that has similar stats. Not as good as the siege tank, but still better than any other loot I've seen in the past. I need to upgrade my airfield and the advanced barracks whatever it is called. Once that is complete I should be able to do most of the missions. I spent like 3 days defeating the boss on the pirate map of the new maps and got a unit that was 35/22 so it wasn't worth it. I don't know where these great units are, but I will keep looking.

Thought the drop was a lousy Jungle Helicopter till I had a proper look...:o

Got a Transport Raider 283A/180D.

Now all I have to do is keep it.....

I hit admiral Eno a few times and all i ever got was Venal soldiers. They pay out every time, just not the highest value item. Honestly there are cheapers ways to get Venal soldiers.

To answer some of the questions about the badass units:

In the Pirates Flotilla map, there were 3 major drop items. These have been removed as of June 4th.

The first major drop item was the Siege Tank(Ground: A410/D290, Low Rate), found at the Advanced Destroyer -- Destroy Railgun.

The second major drop item was the Wavebreaker(Sea:A370/D255, Low Rate) , found at the Rescue Raft -- Disable Propellers.

The third major drop item was the Riptide Runner(Sea:A325/D225, Low Rate), found, I think at the Mine-Launcher -- Sink.

I managed to grab a "few" of each. I've lost 9 Wavebreakers over the past 3 days, unfortunately I wasn't keeping track of attacks, but I'll keep an eye on it from now on. I'm guessing it's been about 500 attacks.

The Wavebreaker was by far, the easiest to drop. It had the lowest energy investment (3 taps at 226 each) and the highest drop rate amongst the three. The Seige Tank, while better, didn't drop so well.

Anyway, it's all moot now, they did a database update on the 4th (?) which removed all of those ultra high items. I know that several people took advantage of the situation, and are sitting pretty right now.

Currently, Pirate Flotilla:Stealth Boat (top-most boat with 6 taps @ 388 energy each), drops the "Silent Thunder" unit (Air:A164/D120, Low). It has a lower drop rate... only managed to get a few.
Since the update, I haven't tried the boss guy yet... so he may still have some chance to drop the big rare items above (?).

Anyway, I'd be glad to know the current location of a Siege Tank / Wavebreaker or similar type items.
I'll poke around a little over the weekend and update again later if I find anything new or interesting.

I have Siege Tank since end of last week, but sudden disappear yeaterday. And we also have another special unit which is "Wavebreaker A/370; D/255". But I don't know where it came from??
