Patience is the best option. Eventually you will drop off his newsfeed making it harder for him to find you. Also, collect on time and bank. Most importantly, don't attack him back otherwise you'll go back to the top of the newsfeed.

Or ignore all that and spend a ton of money getting gold and blow the lot on crates :)

Don't attack him back (so you're not on his news feed) and drop some maffia so you won't show up on his rival list either.

Definitely agree, just suck it up for a few days, collect on time, and deal. The less you response, the faster he'll move on.
