How many active players do we think the is?

With the possibility of winning an item (black widow) which only the most dedicated players will win I started to think

In my eyes There are 2 ways of winning this event, gold or dedication. Everyone stamina regens at the same rate (+/-10%) so most people attack rate will be fairly similar. My questions are: how many active players do we think there is playing the game & what % of them will keep their stamina below full

Like you said +/- 10% it will definitely be the goodfellas with the major advantage, then on top of that I think all the other people are just going to spam stamina refills. It shouldn't be called a PVP event it should be called a bank account vs bank account event :P

Kinda a lame thing to spend gold on? Gold is the way forward how much do you think I would cost to get the black widow

It depends how much people with fat wallets want it. :) And if its more then 500 of them...

The more stamina you have the more cost efficient it is to spend gold on it. It's only 10 gold to refill stamina so if you have 100 stamina then it's a good investment if you really badly want it.

If you have less than 50 stamina.. forget about it... Simple as that...

You can pretty much devote couple of hours, spend a vault on gold and refills and you'll get it. :) For me its not even worth 1000 gold. Maybe just me though.

CC has had over 9million downloads...even if you say 20% of these are active players, you still have nearly 2million players playing on a regular basis.
CCMark has re-iterated before that the forum consists of a tiny minority of CC players.

I'm just interested in knowing that in the off chance that somebody on the forum does win the weapon...how many fights is it going to take?
Anybody want to fathom a guess on the sheer volume of victories that this will take just to beat out 2,999,500 other players?

I say around the neighborhood of 15-20k fights.

I think if you aim for at least 15k fights... then you should win.

That's a hell lot of resets. It should be way less than that. Your basic same for everybody stats:

3 days x 24 hours x 60 minutes = 4320 minutes
1 stamina per 3 minutes = 1440 stamina = 1440 fights.
If you are goodfella = 1584 fights if no stamina wasted.

So i think 15k is too high.

1 stamina per 150 seconds, 345,600 seconds in 4 days. Maximum wins with 0 gold = 2,304. Really think you need 15k wins?

The only completion is when the timer goes off.

You need stamina to fight. This is a fighting event. Therefore you need stamina to "compete" in this event, not complete this event.

And they say there are no stupid questions......
