So bought some ****ty crates with it , still haven't purchased gold or used gold on the event ...

But the sale is tempting tough , but think will stick with the goldstrike .

Fiddle minger and yuck fou. The only new additions to the game are designed to suck money out of it rather than provide meaningful missions and goals. Not likely going to spend much more if any $ on this thing. I originally intended to never buy gold. Lol.

middle finger for sure. Events are clearly not designed for fun, only to suck more money out of us. This PvP tournament is says it all, its basically a contest as to who wants to buy the most stamina refills. Since there is no leaderboard, its impossible to know where you stand. starting to believe these events are ruining the game for me

I've spent less than $20 on this game. Bought Gentleman's Clubs and smoke shops with tapjoy gold, then bought a little to buy pirate taverns and wedding chapels. But I'm pretty much done with gold buildings unless they add more values. GCs and PTs are much better values than the Rock Cafe or Palm Hotel. Next money building on my schedule is the Casino (20 levels away).

Just when I was getting loosened up to buy gold for crates, they upped the price. :(

Maybe if I can find an iTunes card sale to coincide with a gold sale.... ?

It's funny, I never got around to leveling them higher than lvl 3 each. That makes their output .13 % of my total iph. And because they're 1 hr buildings it's actually much less than that in reality. But I don't really care too much about that, I still have a lot of low output buildings at the moment.

I recently sold my carousel. It was worthless to me, and taking 5x5, I found the space better suited for an underbosses house.

I wasn't planning on buying gold, but I just got to lvl 113 and the pirate taverns were too tempting. Bought a bank truck of gold - used it on two pirate taverns, 3 crates (1 rare item, 2 commons) and still have 255 left. Not too shabby.

yeah I'm still low level anyways... I'm lvl 24 I think... so that 3k ph boost might be worth it for me... I'd be able to collect probably 10-12 hours a day except for weekends... that's about 30k a day... seems worth it...

Cannot justify having to spend money to beat a cheat, I refuse to cheat but I also refuse to spend additional money when Funzio appears to be helpless at even banning obvious cheats (multiple builds at once, multiple upgrades to level 10 within minutes, 100s of items from Ma Sheng in a couple of days)

About same as advertised. I've got 3 rates and 2 commons out of 12 crates. A bit lucky this time. Prior 9 was the other way around.

Not true man. When they scratch, the enjoyment last only till "no win" is revealed. Here you enjoy it afterwards by whatever reasons you might have. :) Some are real perverts thought :)

I spend on the game what I would spend out a night at the bar (when I was single).

Same goes for Vegas... I sit and play black jack, talk with the dealers, meet some fantastic people, and drink "for free". It's entertainment, nothing more than that!

That is how I see it too Will :) , money gone for entertainment isn't a big deal .
But atleast it should be good entertainment .

If this had been two or so weeks earlier I definitely would have been up for it. I had some extra cash and, having been a while since I last had the chance, was looking forward to getting my hands on some crate items. However, the price increase introduced with the Jailbreak crates has turned me right off spending money on this game, and any further gold purchases are on hold indefinitely. I have an amount I'm prepared to spend, but if Funzio find that amount to be less than satisfactory then I won't argue the point.

I would buy a vault if iTunes didn't have such a crappy currencyrate (1$:7NOK, should be 1$:6NOK). And I'm saving up for a little trip overseas :p
