I’m close to level 50 and right now in the position that I could steamroll pretty much anyone. I’ve had a game plan and I stuck to it and it has paid out. That’s what this game is all about, right? To play as smart and efficent as you can? So why is the game trying to make me build stuff that I don’t want to build? Lately I’ve started to quest a bit, since leveling in the high 40’s are getting really slow but right now I’m stuck because the game wants me to build brawlers for the next mission. That requires me to upgrade my barracks to level 5 but upgrading my barracks to level 5 is not part of the plan. So my question is, is it worth deviating, doing it anyway when looking at future rewards? And will the game force me to upgrade other stuff as well along the road?

And another question. Right now I'm questing at the sancitified marsh (I think, the map after Vault of Set, anyway) and when I kil the bosses they drop the same stuff as the regular monsters do. Is that a bug or is the drops random? I got Mummy Cutters for defeating the Adder Lord at the Vault of Set. Hmmm...

If you think it's out of your way, then don't do them. What are your stats at Level 50? I think bosses drop the same loot as the regular monsters do but at a higher drop rate.

Attack and defence around 7300 both, with 60 allies. Level 45. About the quest, it's not like I can pick and choose which ones to do. If I don't do the brawler quest, I'm dead in the water concerning quests. If I'm about to upgrade my barracks two levels I want to know if it will be worth it, and that I doesn't have to upgrade it to level 7 for the next quest. It's not the money that is the problem, but the time. I could use those upgrade hours to much more relevant things, it's not liek there's anything coming from the barracks that I really want.

I've seen you on my rival list. You are a strong player. If you need another ally let me know. I'm moving up to 60 allies.

Ok, the whole thing with the units is crappy rewards for those quest. All it ever gives you is a few gold and exp points. So you won't really be missing out on much. As I've seen so far. I'm on the same one with the brawlers. But they are weak units so I chose not to do it yet. I level up fast enough fighting monsters. Maybe later the rewards will be better but the quest data sheet is sparse. So , my opinion is that eventually you may want to level up everything you have if you play long enough. But I feel the unit quest are unnecessary due to poor rewards. I'm sure someone else will chime in and give you another opinion.

As far as the monster boss drops, I think it's a random drop. You may have a higher percentage of getting a better drop from them but it's still random. As far as I can tell so far. Lvl 47.

That's not exactly steamroller material when you get a few more levels up. I think its worthwhile to do the quests, but the building quests are sort of worthless at some point. Im currently stuck on the level7 cottage - I don't see the point in spending two days to upgrade a building Id almost rather sell.

Skoty, well I kind of agree with you there. Right now I see no reason to upgrade the barracks but maybe down the line, and if theres something worth striving for in regards of rewards. Allies? Yes, sure. My code is 290 694 801.

Red, I’ve never claimed to be steamroller material on higher levels, just saying that I’ve haven’t stumbled upon anyone in my level with higher stats. But I’m sure they are out there, they always are.:) The stats was from the top of my head, when I looked them up they were A 7435 D 7745. Not a big difference, I know, but at least the the D will take of big time the coming week, since I Just got my Wizards Spire to level 7, unlocking high priests.

And thanks for the info on the level 7 cottage. I’ve sold mine so even less reason to continue the questline.

If you do decide to go through the quests, level 3 on a map gives a decent honor drop, level 4 gives an extra skill point and level 5 gives you an indestructible unit (at least I think it is - I haven't lost one yet!).

Hmm. First map gave me indestructible after lvl 5. Second map just gold and exp so far. On lvl 4 but says with mastery I get skill point with gold and exp.

By the way monkey man, you should seperate your ids. I was gonna copy and paste but it keeps bringing them both up. So maybe we can ally later. :)

Are y'all already through clearing out #2 on all of the maps? I'm only on Devil's Doorway (map 12) with 2 more until I start back over at the beginning going the level 3s.

Also, which indestructible unit did you get?

First map was a bandit leader. I think the stats were 4/3 Not real good but it's like a prize lol. That's the only one I've cleared. But most of my maps, not all them, are at lvl 3.

Nice. a $#!T unit that is invincible, but no one would want to use it by the time one clears off that map 5x. :P

Yep. I didn't even get mine when I cleared it. I had to send in a ticket about it to them. When I found out way later. Oh well. Like I said. A trophy. And that's it cause it's useless. Maybe if they had more area between leveling up you would have time to actually play the same map a little more

Can you still do the map once you have mastered level 5?

Yes you can still do the map once it is mastered. I have mastered the first five maps and these are the units you get.
1. Crossroads- Bandit Leader 3/4 (infantry)
2. The orc camp- Earth Warden 3/6 (magic)
3. The Dark Forest- Wise Owlbear 5/6 (beast)
4. Morogdar's Den- Unshackled Troll 8/5 (beast)
5. Cursed Graveyard- Grave Monstrosity 11/4 (machine)
They are all indestructible

The quest "upgrade your barracks to level 2" is still on my list. :)

Thanks a lot for the lvl3 ,4,5 map reward sharing.

PM me if any of you want to know some incredible loot in the 4 MW new map.

Is it not a good plan to master each map to L5 then? This has been my approach so far - currently going for L3 on The Infested Cavern. Each one gets to L5 before starting the next.

As far as quests go I only have one relating to the first part of the next map, and the ubiquitous "get X alliance size" and "attack players with X alliance" as all others that have been presented have been cleared.....
