That is the point with Game Center Achievements in KA?

Menu -> "More" -> "GAMECENTER"

I see I get some Achievements, but that is the point in them then I can't show them to allies or friends?
It does not look like I get any resources of any kind for getting an achievements.

I think you can share it with friends if you invite them, but the interface feels so...foreign..and its not really an ingame leaderboard in the sense that it gets broadcasted to all players.
