New Ranks system installed? how does it works?

I have noticed that there are 2 new units available per type , 8 in total, which can be bought with valor points but you have to be a specific Rank. IE lieutenant or commander.

How do you get these Ranks?

Attack and raid rivals and earn Battle Points to level up your rankings. Happy hunting!

Look at your rival list, there's an extra tap at the top named "Ranking" - it even has a little stamp "NEW" on it. Have a look over there, its self explanatory

My advice is: Don't get too carried away by the ranking system. Play your normal game and keep whatever strategy you are using intact. The Battle Points and ranking promotions will come in due course. You can really upset your army by trying to advance in rankings too fast. Looses can add up faster than you can replace them. The ranking payoffs are not dramatic.
