Anybody else finding Sea Crates are rare?

Man, I was able to get 60 gun crates in CC, but haven't found more than about 10 sea crates in Modern War. What gives with the rarity?

Where are you looking?

Here's some tips for finding them in pvp:

1) investigate people with ranks above private.
2) check their base to see if their money buildings are being collected. If they are:
3) check their inventory for at least the first prize of this event.

If it's there(or even better, the second, third, and fourth prizes too), attack until you can't attack them anymore. Repeat.

This strategy gets me crates fairly quickly with minimal wasted attacks on people who don't have any.

Could hardly find any in cc, think the most i had at one time was 3

Like Warfiend says, also sometimes you will find them even if the rival doesn't have the first prize, especially if they rank sergeant or above. I've picked up almost all of my 80 or so from PvP

Also, I dont keep count on how many Ive had, but I've always got at least 25-30 to be opened at any one time.

Well, it would help if I didn't have to lose a bajillion units just to raid/attack. At this point, I don't have the economy to replace the lost units.

exact opposite for me.
I've given up. I've tried probably 15-20 times and only openeed one damn crate. All with medium option.

I've got 45 of the stupid things and I'm finding it more difficult to open them without using gold. I've also noticed the rewards are not as good as before. I've yet to get the $1,250,000 prize or the 500 valor. only $250,000 and useless units.

Be happy with the 250k! Most I have ever received is 300 in this event and mostly 100k. Likely to do with the levels, I've just bumped to 59 looking for bp's. Almost there, but have only picked up 3 crates today, even after about 45 attacks, hmmmmmm
