How about a cool 5 million in April 2012!

Another interesting comment is that GREE's (Funzio's new parent company) shares fell a record 23 percent after the Japanese government said it was investigating the legality of various game mechanics in the social gaming industry. Many Japanese games have a slot machine-like mechanic called “Gacha,” where players will randomly win different special items. If they win all the items, they might get a grand prize.

Hmmm, sound familiar????

With the launch of kingdom age, Funzio is making 12 million a quarter, or 48 million a year. All for just pixels out of thin air.

See article.

Crazy isn't it? What can you say? It's a fun game. Social tiered games are a lot of fun...

LOL! You know with the forum members alone, we could create the same thing, for cheaper.

Catered dinners are nice and all, but it just means you're always working through dinner. And the free Jamba juices and snacks? They're a form of handcuffs so you don't leave the office for too long. Gree's already a public company so the chance for any new employees getting a big payout is unlikely. Lots of other startups out there that offer the same bennies along with a chance at the IPO/acquisition lottery.

I like this comment, I'm feeling they just treat everyone in the same way, players and employees
