Has anyone actually ever gotten an event item?

Just curious, but I feel like I've never seen one of the 10-item prize units in anyone's profile. Is it something that Funzio just puts as a tease so that everyone will spend money? Or are these items actually possible to achieve?

Lil bit hard for free players but still achievable.

1-totally free (cash opens)
1-cash opens plus 90 golds

A forum member named McDoc have managed to get all 5 so far. He used gold

What level are you? I find it weird that you have never seen someone with an event prize before. I'm going to assume you are a low level, as lower levels have a much harder time obtaining the prize.

First off, they only have access to lower energy missions so even getting the crates is much more difficult. Then the money cost per open is much more significant to them, so im betting many of them opt for the free hand option quite a bit.

In the higher levels with players that can afford the cash option every hour with ease, you will see a lot more players with the 10th prizes.

Also most gold players are gauranteed to have at least some if not all the prizes, depending on the amount they spend.

The events don't even appear for player under level 10 right? I'm betting he only sees other level 10s, and any of them that are actively participating in the event and lucky enough to make it to 10 parts, would of leveled up far past level 10 in the week or so that most events are on.

Only possible way i can see a level 10 having the item is if he did 10 PvE missions, got 10 crates out of it and all 10 crates gave a part.
