View Full Version : Respect Point Expenditures For Players After M4A1s Vanished

Most everyone thinks Chain Whips are the best item to spend respect point on but, I think not For players who started after m4a1s. Guns are the hardest item to fill with quality equipment. That being said Melee is the easiest.

Looting items with real regularity is the key to this argument. When I say real regularity, I mean not the drop % you read in the spreadsheets but the amount you can obtain in a day and the quilty of the item. By these standards this is the order.

1. Melee
2. Armor
3. Cars
4. Guns

Melee's best loot is 13attack and chain whip is 25attack 12 point difference
Guns have over a 20 point difference

Players who started after m4a1s should slow spend respect points on every thing except GUNS

Isn't the best attack melee weapon the s&m choker? It has 17 attack which would reduce that difference to 8.

My thoughts on this weight highly on the amount of items you can loot a day not just the attack strength of the item. What would help newer players more a few s&m chokers at 17 attack or a lot of spiked hammers at 13 attack?

How are you doing your calculation if not using the spreadsheet...

anyway best gun loot is probably:

Chemical Plant - drops Crimson Shotgun .4/1000 energy...not bad for 19/14 item.

Though, you may a good point here....Basically, I would look at your skill point improvement / RP for all the end-game items and choose the one that maximizes your gain. You need them all in the end, so get the one the benefits you the most now.

That gun is not avalable till after you you can get the top respect point gun so I did not consider it. If you do enough TL's you should not need it and you can move on to cars next. I was trying show how you can get the most attack as you progress early in the game with in the ratio between energy, time and experience.

Since M4 nerf I've been farming this items in no specific order:

Reinforced tonfa 24/19
Urban warfare vest 11/20
Mech suit 17/33
Chinese assault rifle 35/23
ECB 15/17
M1014 20/13

Spending all my respect into exelero for a while, after numerous attempts trying to get s&m chokers (got zero) decided to go for tonfas, requires more energy but money payoff and guaranteed drop of either reinforced tonfa, Chinese assault rifle or mech suit, can't be beat.

That is awesome. What level does that open up at??

Reinforced tonfa, mech suit and chinese assault rifle are drops from Ma Sheng at black market, opens at lvl 120
Urban warfare @ empire arena plaza (clothing store) unlocks at lvl 100. M1024 @ la rambla project site (box of sand) unlocks at 115 and ECB at red light district (red cascade) unlocks at 103.

I use this spreadsheet for loot items https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0AqX4lDb5cyUvdHl6RXFncTlLVDY5NjdvQ3FZWmF3eW c&type=view&gid=6&f=true&sortcolid=-1&sortasc=true&rowsperpage=250

I'm using the same tactic you’re using. Finished with UWV, and currently farming ECB. When I reach the required level of Black Market map I’ll start farming from Ma Sheng. But you need to remember that Ma Sheng drops one item per 2-3 days, cause he requires 11520 total energy, so it will probably make you A LOT of time to maximize one of his drops.

@swifty thanks, trying to catch up to the big boys. After finding the forum got my Atk and def from 8k to 25/29k in about a month and my economy up from 9000 to 100k

I just got him so I only had 2 fights until this moment. I can still get 1 respect but it's seems like the everage RP per fight is a lot better. I'm going to rush my TL goals now :)

Yeah, I've moved on to the Octagon recently...I actually get more improvement to my stats per RP by buying RPGs, so I've stopped buy Exeleros for now. I have 400+ NVBs and 400+ CWs, about 115 Exeleros.

Last 2 bosses open up at L120 & 125....

Black Market drops what Vartains stated above
Octagon Alley drops:
Cagefighter Pads 15/27 72%
Iron Fist 30/19 22%
Tough Guy Lowrider 27/30 6%

Yes kaz, but I use the ~1,000,000 payout to also buy 3 Sarin Gas's every time...it's been working well for me.

Still doing DDs from Sue. Any reason I should switch to ECB?

One more lvl to unlock it. Once I get to 100 exceleros I'm stopping and reassessing. Why so many nvb's if you don't mind me asking.

DD and chokers avoid me for some reason, don't have a single one yet. I just farm ECB because on single click 171 energy with 12% drop rate instead of the 2401 sue takes, ECB going to be replaced eventually so I rather farm those now.

One more lvl to unlock it. Once I get to 100 exceleros I'm stopping and reassessing. Why so many nvb's if you don't mind me asking.

I came to the forums late, and I was very weak, so it helped me become competitive very quickly, and as I've stated before, I consider NVBs near-end game items...my order of equipment purchases with RP will be: NVB, CW, Excelero/RPG then FCG. At some point I will purchase FBI shields (probably starting in next few weeks) to pair with my NVBs so I'll have 16/24 for 300 RP instead of FCG 17/27 for 800. And if I'm still playing this dumb game in another year, I'll start fazing out my NVB with FCG.

Also, back then UWV wasn't farmable like it is now. You had M4A1 and DDs, so I farmed those and bought CW & NVB with my RP. In retrospect would I rather 150 FCG then 400 NVB, now yes, but it would have been harder to get to where I am now without them. So, I probably wouldn't do it much differently, maybe 100 less.

I probably wouldn't recommend buying 400. But I definitely think 200-300 isn't a bad option, especially if you only have average stats.
