I haven't got a gun safe but the fact there going a new event every week i really wouldn't worry all they are trying to do make you level up who cares if i get one great but if i don't so what they will be another event next week. The creator are really trying to get you play the game but if you ignore the event.

I already getting crush by gold players they should be a way free player can use game cash to buy gold items

-Rats.
-Looting useless items like Nail Bats.
-Add requests from people with over 9000 mafia.
-Wasting my time visiting hoods with barely a single building levelled beyond L1.
-Having the game crash just as I'm about to make a million dollar raid.

Is that a normal failure rate for the blow torch?

I don't think there is a 'normal' rate. One event you'll have that happen then the next one you may have the opposite happen and the first 5 will all open. People's results have been wildly varied with the blow torch.

#2. Lack of accurate documentation. For example: The goodfella upgrade states that it will increase 3 game aspects when in actuality it only increases 2 (and yes I do understand what it does, but that is not how it is documented).

1) When the game falls behind the forum in terms of excitement.
2) When people wrongly accuse
3) When my nightclub notification comes through, open up CC, nightclub isn't ready, then have it robbed 1 hour later
4) I also hate the comment left after comment #3 was successful on my wall

Iv got 8 gun parts with 70-something attempts, it takes a lot of tries

100% agree and I've tried w/ gold bars and cash options w/ no success. Currently have eight golden gun parts and counting hopefully xxx

5. Serial Robbers -> although I attack them a lot afterwards

Funzio and what they did to a great game. I have 9 guns, if I don't get the 10th using just the middle option I'm peace'n out. All buildings will be sold and all money will be "No Banked". Summer is just about here for me anyway.
