Boost buildings not working

It seems like my boost buildings arent working for some reason, i sold a lumber mill once and i think thats what stopped em all from working. No gold decrease on lvl 2 lumber mill no atk/def increase on machine units w/ machine boost lvl 2 :( anyone know a fix?

I presume you have purchased a building or unit and confirmed the prices or stats remained the same.
