Finding crates has not been as bad in the past, opening and getting propeller parts has been a challenge since I got prop #9. 31 attempts and 11 successful opens, but no props. Will continue to hold out hope for the elusive #10.

Sorry (00.35am), accidentally went asleep, woke up at 6 because my wife drops a plate in the kitchen, see if everything oke, and went straight to open a box : 9th prop (6.30am), 3x sorries, sorry (glitch : sorry), 100 valor, sorry, torpedo boat, 100 valor, sorry, another grunt!, sorry ( glitch : 10th prop!!!!) and ta daaaa... Now i have another LLP at lv 12, but it seems very hard to find crates in that level, i've spent maybe 20x 100-150 energy on missions in every map opened, but got only 1 crate, and another one from pvp..both have resulted in 2 prop so far..
Do any of you know where a good spot to farm crates at this level??

I really couldn't tell you lost count after about box 20, although I purposely kept below 10 boxes on the first day and got 9 parts. I'm mainly a PVP player so mostly from that, but also a number from mini-sub and naval.

Picked up some more boxes and made it to 8. This is where I got stuck last time, but the difference is, I've put in about 1/5th the effort this time and got to 8 a day earlier. I don't have any deluisions of hitting 10, but have a small hope that maybe I can hit 9 for the first time. The elite trembler would be of immense benefit.

Have only gone up a level and a half with 4 boxes left to open. New strategy to limit leveling works very well. Screening targets has become a lot easier since rank started showing, but that's only because rank is still new. On my level, almost everyone with rank is participating in the event, so I just ignore all the privates and investigate everyone else. Really speeds up the process, but won't be as useful in future events as it is now.

Hello everyone, first post, however I read the last 2 event forums pretty heavily... I just finally reached lucky number 10, however, I doubted strongly ... After 36 hrs, I was already up to 9 props, however, after that, I noted 47 attemps, out of which 26 sorry, 3 times valor, 1 time 300k and 3 times 60k, 2 allies. Past two events I was stuck on 8 ... I truly believe the key to these are awesome first 48 hrs ... And perseverance ... All cash opens, no gold. I stated level 38 ended 46. Never went above 9 crates. Hope this helps someone and good luck to all :)

I am into my fourth day now stuck at 9 on my iPad game. My iPhone game is at 8. I hit those numbers early on in this event. Using strictly cash on both games for opens but doing many opens each day mostly for sorry's but some cash, loot, and valor dropping as well. I agree with the earlier post in this thread that the primary, overriding factor is luck. Using gold would be a poor decision in my view for all the reasons stated in this and other threads.

I have the same experience. All cash this event and hit 8 just like I do when dropping lots of gold. Same result.

I haven't tried Micky or McDocs strategy yet, which always seems to work.

Obviously it isn't rigged since so many have received 10, but I'm not holding out any hope for it myself with a day and a half left. I usually get 16 - 18 chances daily, with help from Mrs, but 15 or so sorry's daily gets a bit disheartening... AND leveling up far too fast!

same here, I average 100 BP per attack, and still get the same attacking player in same lv atk/def range

In the last event I got my number 10, 15 minutes before the end of the event (I did a gold open though, but got worked)
so keep trying every time you can, and I hope you get to 10

Been stuck on 9 for about 2 1/2 days. I have been opening about 10-15 crates a day, getting really frustrated by now. It has been the same for me on all the events. If I dont get 10 today, it's gonna be my last event. Have propably lost about 5 millon in units trying to get the damn crates. But congrats to all who got 10.

Into my fifth and final day at 9 Props. I am getting many opens for cash, etc but,sadly, no more props. I would say that the last 10 opens has been successful 8 times. Also, shockingly, I am getting big cash drops, twice now for more than 1 million. I am level 85, maybe the cash is level dependent.

Don't use gold. I have used 3000 gold trying to get the last goal item and still never did. You might be luckier but I would save it for something better.

Yup, like WP says, stick with the cash. I haven't used as much as him but used about 900 gold or so, and loads of cash each of the past 2 events and got to 9 both times.

Still at 9 but of course have high hopes. Since I'm UK I would really like to have this one!

and currently sit at 23 "sorry" in a row

okay then...good to know this..this makes me gonna still try and open the boxes...

overall still happy with the event, starting late, but after 3 days got my 10, and since then been focusing on my LLP
been hard to search for boxes in LLP (just got 1 from mission, and been doing it like crazy!! lvling up 8 times), and since then been getting boxes only from PVP...really lucky on the 4th day, going from 1 to 8!! but since then been on a dry spell until the event ends...argghhhhh!!

I am with you on this one - I only got 8 propellers.

Personally, I am now no longer going to participate in any future events. The last six events I have made 100-120 attempts to open the crates and each time I have failed to reach ten. Fair play to those who have reached the magic number either by using gold or by using in game $ but enough is enough for me.

This last event has been the worst for me - 3 times I got 'Sorry' 9 times in a row - and using the 'medium' option at $112k a pop, my open rate was 38%. Now can someone explain to me hoe 38% equals a medium chance of opening?
