Fight Item Acquisition question

Is there a method to get weapons that matter more often when fighting pvp? I keep getting butterfly knives, and I'm well beyond the point where those are useful.

I have gotten some useful stuff, but I was wondering if there was a way to increase the likelihood or if there was a milestone/metric to track for getting something good.

I'm at Lvl 70.

Apparently if you upgrade to goodfella there is a better armored police truck drop rate?

Someone may be able to confirm this for you...

PvP loot drop is random. Sometimes you get something good, the rest of the time you get stuff like Butterfly Knives.

Not that I've seen. I was a Tycoon for like ~170 levels before upgrading to Goodfella, and PvP loot is the same as always. Usually crap (butterfly knife, wrestler mask, etc), sometimes something uncommon or rare.

I got that one. A couple of skull shotguns, a bloody AK, 4 armored police trucks, and one or two other items. However, I also have 54 butterfly knives, 23 sets of boxer trunks, etc.
