Funny huh I even have that feeling this event , that it doesn't matter how much gold I throw at it .
This one won't happen , seems to be worst then devil take down for me .

So maybe I will just play for free this one and leave it at 9 .

I had 6 in a row, so in 6 hours I got from 6 to 7... But I do know that I'll be stuck at 9 like the rest of the events (except for one), free weapons and other things though!

Well my conclusion is based on having 25% success rate , and at 6 am hitting the junk stuff of cash and bikes.
So don't think gold will save me this time ...
But tommorow is another day , we shall see , but my prediction this event is 9 , no matter if i spend 4500 gold .
Will not alter the difference this time .

I got #5 before going to bed last night and opened # 6 & 7 back to back when I woke up this morning (all medium cash option). Per @Burn's advice a couple of events ago, I've lowered my expectations to 7 which makes these now weekly events much less frustrating and desperation-inducing.

Even with ~6 days and likely ~80 cash attempts to go I refuse to enter into delusions of getting #10.
