Anyone finding the main menu button and more button in the menu screen lagging?

After the new update the menu screen takes about 4 seconds to load and the more button in the menu screen takes about 4 seconds to load as well. The menu screen lags only the first time you press it when loading the game. The more screen (where you get the news) lags every time.

This is on an Ipad3. Deleted and reinstalled Modern War and still the same.

Anyone else experiencing this?
