Did I get beat up by a hacker?

I'm lvl 41 and just dropped most of my allies so that I have only 50 left. This night I got attacked by a guy at lvl 38 but with 2550 allies. He to almost a million from me...how could he even find me?

You were maybe on his list from previous attacks that occurred from your side. If that is the case he will have you on the list untill you are pushed out due to the limit on it. Do you remember if you ever attacked him? I kept attacking people like that a lot. People who gave out a lot of cash, I kept attacking them untill they were gone.

I'm pretty sure I have seen his name when I had over 300 allies, so have probably attacked him before. But what about the number of allies he had, it was over 2000, is that even possible?

you can farm thousands of allies and many do this. all you need is 500 for level 100+ to bring 2000 units to fight. end of story

np, another thing is if u have over 1000 allies your rival list gets filled up with them. means u could fight ur friends.

also its getting buggy to visit bases of ur allies. so i strongly recommend that u never go above 500. its just useless to have more and only causing troubles than any advantage. who to fight if u ally up with everyone?

its only the weaklings and those who have no idea about game mechanics who farm many many allies

Totally possible but there was a bug in the ally list if you went over 1000. Having that many is not something I would do plus once past the max for your level they are useless.
