No stats points for buying weapons???

Why is it that when I buy items my stats remain unchanged? What is going on here?

Just shut down the app and restart ... everything is server side anyway , or just attack somebody..

What are you buying? What you have purchased could be lower than the weapons in the category ie no change to your stats.

Just thought i'd stock up on a few Ak-47's and SMG's to increase the stats a little, nothing changed. Surely I should get the 3 attack and 4 defence points for each purchase? What category do you mean?

Death, read some of the guides posting the basics of the game that are stickied.

In essence, you can use 5 mob guys for each level. Each mob guy gets one weapon from each category. If you are at level 10, you are using 50 mafia, regardless of how many you have. If you have 50 AK47s already, buying more will not add to your score.

When you add weapons, you only get credit for any improvement they provide over the weapons they replace.

Thanks Max Power for clearing that up. Only went for those weapons cos they were so cheap. So basically the only way the improve your attack stats are to buy the more expensive weapons that don't give you much of a boost in stats anyway? Not sure I like this system but if that's the way it is I'll go with it.
