Abandoned play style (camping/crawling)...

So, today I decided that I wanted to get to level 43 as quickly as possible to open up the Machine Gun. I chose to to the pvp goals as opposed to the storyline jobs.

I haven't gotten to level 43 yet (was at 42), but here's my stash so far:

- about 500 XP
- 574 RP
- 2 M14 Sniper Rifles
- 2 Colombian Knives
- about $10,000 (pretty insignificant, but I'll take it)
- 1 Street Machine Pistol

Pretty good day, and I'm only half way there.

BTW, I have a feeling the anti-campers are going to use this post against me! Haha!

Good to have fun every once in a while, but I always go back to crawling. There's this one dude at level 71, with 3 mafia members, that is either a big spender, a hacker, or an idiot no banker. I attack him 10x whenever I can and get a nice 300k before returning to my cave.

IMHO having too much fun can raise your expectations, which IMHO is not a good idea for these close to impossible events.

Wait until you get into the 50-70s. Some of the money buildings are totally worth the leveling!

That's what I've been up to as well. Took me a couple of months to go from 41 to 42 solely on lvl 7 LMs and the occasional Collection Agency and Loft. I like the slow pace as my economy is cruising right along!

What benefit is there in camping at such low levels? IMO wouldn't it be more efficient to stop leveling at say... lvl 125? or 135 where most buildings are unlocked but still before HL threshold.
Tell me if my logic is wrong here but camping at higher levels = higher theoritcal income = more cash per same amount of time = less amount of time for lvl 3 NCs....

Those items/cash/other stuff is what he got from his recent PvP spree. Not in his entire game.

Great idea, and great points you make. I will see your great idea, and raise you another. How about continuing past lvl 135 and NEVER camping. You can keep doing jobs like ma sheng and robbing and you will earn an extra million++ per day. Its like having an extra palm hotel. Funnel that money back into your economy or whatever you'd like and then be much than you would be by camping at any level

I see your point, but for people like me who are terrible collectors, i take advantage of the of the 142 HL threshold to maximise my economy and stats before getting ripped to shreds. I know that past lvl 142 i will most certainly lose around 30% of income due to robs and another 10% as i have to start banking again. Currently at lvl 126 with 632Kph, i would estimate my loses to be around 6 mil a day if i continued past 142...... and i certainly do not rob that much a day.....

You all might call it being chicken, but at the end of the day WHO can no bank 50 mil! and still have green all over there news feed! =D

I'm camping at such a low level BECAUSE by doing so, with the little gold I've spent and the good economy i already have, i am pretty much (almost) the strongest lvl 9 with my mafia. Therefore, i can no bank and get my NCs to lvl 3 each before i start leveling. my income is 37k and my high-income buildings are as follows...

MT's ~ x2 (lvl 4 & 5)
Lofts ~ x2 (lvl 1s)
Empire's ~ x2 (lvl 7s)

once the following buildings to 10 and my NCs to 3, i will start leveling up to the high 20s, low 30s for new good building and weapon unlocks(:
