Tested like 50 kills, only has a very low drop rate now.
Anybody feels that?

Seems like alot of droprates were lowered as far as i can see. It is a shame that this is done without allowing us to know.

No, I don't think this is it. I think Funzio was just smarter as they developed this game. Here is what I have noticed:

At the beginning of a map, drop rates are rather high. As you continue to punish a certain monster, the drop rate remains good until kill number "x" at which point the drop rate lowers. I have found this consistently throughout the higher level maps. How do you fix this problem? Well, you PLAY THE STORY LINE. As you continue to conquer maps, new monsters appear with high drop rates again.

I mean, I hit the male owlbear like 10 times in a row for drops like 2 days ago, then it dried up. So, I advanced in the maps and even went to farm a little bit in the sea of flames when it opened. Again, high drop rates for "X" number of kills, then it dies off. This forces you to actually play the game aside from just farming.

I think because of the M4 situation in CC, they made some good mods to the programming here that allow you to farm a little bit, but, not so much as it gives a disadvantage for those coming up through the ranks. If you play the story line after you have farmed the latest map a little bit, you will always be progressing in the latest maps and getting BETTER monsters on those maps. Boss monsters in the later maps provide some super cool weapons.

But, these are just my thoughts. I could be completely wrong. It has happened once of twice.

This could be anecdotal evidcence though. You would need a massive sample size to be able to quantify this accurately.

I agree. I started to farm that today but drop is very bad.

@urdead I also find that good drops come in runs too. I stop when it is this bad and back to questing.

This is the problem when people scream all over the forum about good drops.

Why do you think I am so vague on where to loot, and not what to loot. I dont give monster locations and what exactly they drop even if I know each and every single monsters possible drops. I learned from our CC error, but newbies will be newbies its alright.
