How much dd you level up during events?

Events are starting to become a problem for me. I went into the current one intending to play it to the end, but it came at a horrid cost. I went from the early stages of level 27 to just about the end of level 31 when I decided to quit, after quite literally spending 3 days on level 8.

I was initially trying to find medical kits through pvp play because the experience accumulation is much smaller than through the goals. But because the kits were hard to find, I finally decided to play through the goals to find the kits, which I found, but was hammered with fast accumulation of experience which rapidly pushed me through the levels.

I was additionally punished by Funzio with 7 useless grunts.

I was wondering what other players experience was in this regard? How much do you level up during events, particularly this last one and is that a problem for you? It was for me, because I noticed a dramatic increase in attacks as I quickly leveled up and didn't have the proper units to defend myself at the higher level and higher ally count.

I was also trying to think if Funzio purposely wants us to level up as quickly as possible and if so what would be its motivation for it.

Normally twice I believe, but this event about 4 times. I had to pvp about 30 times to find 1 box.

Past events were strictly PVE with the occasion PVP when I ran out of boxes. In this event, it’s all about PVP. I spent about 400 energy for the entire event. PVP is more fun; however, it also comes with a price of causalities. I lost about 8 SH; 3 SF and 3 GIGN plus multiple high value units. I could’ve limited my unit lost but I just cannot seem to stop attacking, LOL, especially when there are people with cash outside of their vault. Overall, I’m pretty happy with the event. I level up 1.5 levels for this event.

The last one was my first event and I went from level 11 to level 22 trying to get that stupid helicopter. This time I went into the event knowing that the open rates decline significantly the closer you get to 10 vaccines, so my goal was 7 vaccines. I went from level 22 to 26 and for the last three days I've been stuck on 6 vaccines. Out of my last 40 open attempts (no gold, just $$$), 37 sorrys, 1 grunt, 1 valor, and 1 $$$. I have 5 med kits still to open and less than 7 hours to go, so I'm pretty certain I won't get a 7th vaccine.

9 levels. And I'm still not seeing anyone on my rivals list whose attack even begins to come close to my defense. There is noticeably more people I can't attack, but nothing a week of offense unit purchases can't overcome.

Started at lvl 39 and just now hit 44. Havent had anyone kamakazi me yet. That will probably change now.
I've been getting med kits using 70/30% pvp/pve. Stuck on 9 since 3 days ago. More than 50 attempts. $$$ opens only. Dont feel lucky but their is a spark of hope in me that hasn't died out. Gotta go open my 3rd to last med kit.

1.5 Levels for me - was very efficient. I thought it was going to get much worse, as I did that in virtually the first day looking for boxes.

And then I was saved - some guy raided my base with hopeless stats looking for boxes like 3 times, and so I went back to his base and reloaded every time with 3-4 boxes :)

I levelled up probably twice. Got most of my medkits from PvE and only perhaps 5 from PvP. Never really understood that. I won every fight but couldn't find much. Finished with 8 vaccines.

I'm out of these events for a while unless they come up with something exceptional, and that of course will be the next event!

I leveled up three times, but it was worth it for my game strategy. I need the discount in upgrades badly. They are so expensive the higher the building level.

mine is 6...from 31 to 37 now, but am doing it intentionally to get the advance airbase in lvl 40...
tooo upset to see a lot of players in my lvl with good stat, only to find that they could built an adv. airbase, while I'm not...just wait and see when I got mine...:mad:
