I have to agree that Alice is lucky. I tried to go cash option only for this event. It lasted three days because all I got was fail, fail, fail or useless crap as well as only getting to 5 documents. Caved and used gold to complete the event. I admit I was weak LMAO

You don't need to play that much. You just login, open, get sad, lock it.

In the contraband event I've been stuck on 7 for 3 days...it's all luck.
In the credit card event it took me 2 days from 8 to 9, and the 10th dropped by the end. Just don't give up...

If you got continues fail for 5,6 times, I would suggest one time switch to free or gold option. The first 7 don't actually needs gold, at least in this time, I got 7 faster than many gold players.

Yes...and here are something more, believe it or not, works good for me...
1. don't rob/attack when you are about to open. (so that your memory is free)
2. restart CC before open. (the same)
3. disconnect your computer or at least shut down your downloading when open. (clean internet access)
4. use wifi from different locations if possible. (reset bad luck)

If you got trouble finding the 9th, the 10th will be easier (such as my credit card event), just keep on trying and good luck:p

Mind you - I don't get it every hour - but pretty much during the day I open as much as possible.

It seems that from 7 to 8, or 8 to 9, or 9 to 10, one and only one of them must be hard, say at least two days. After that, the odds grow much better.

i also got my 10 item with no gold spent, i got it yesterday with 3 days to spare. Now I like playing the event every hour hoping i get a enhanced bike or sledgehammer haha since im done with the documents

but seriously this is my 2nd event in a row with no real trouble getting the 10th item with no gold spent and only using the medium option, i guess it can be done, u guys dont have to kill yourselves spending gold here. I barely even notice the 30% less upgrade costs and the minor attack and defense it increases my overall strength

Well Butters, certainly it can be done - on my low level account, I went 10/10 by the end of the third day. Crazy. On my high level account, I'm stuck at 9/10, with about 30+ total opens left. I think we are trying to figure out if it's worth making a run at it with gold if you're close. Obviously, people can and do get 10/10 without gold, as we both did, but far more won't. If someone has been stuck at 8/10 for three days and is doing gold opens every hour, it makes it seem that it may not be worth taking the gold risk becase the odds are so low. I'm starting to think that's the case for my high level account.

EDIT: So that would be between 45/60 total opens since 8/10. Wow, that really sucks. I feel for you man. Makes me think I shouldn't spend gold during this event.

The difference is going from two buildings at around $190k per hour ($380k per hour total), to one that is over $525k per hour. Over time, the savings will be insane.

Because 30% lower building upgrade costs is the best thing ever and can't be achieved any other way.

Yep. But I'm hearing that this event is more like the emerald burner than the others - horrifically bad open rates and drop rates, even if gold is used. I heard someone used 65+ opens in a row with gold and didn't get a single document. That is kind of ridiculous. I'm thinking no gold for me this time - not worth wasting it on something with a sub-1% drop rate, even if it's awesome. Have to congratulate everyone that has been able or will be able to get one though.

It is worth then casino. :) It that case you have a chance to win real money. Here you've got to spend real money to get a chance (which you don't even know you have in the first place) to get some pretty pixels on your screen :)

It's all about luck.. I was stuck on 6 for three days (with cash), then took me 500 gold to get from 6-10. That was really lucky for being me, since I usually don't get away that cheap.
If it's rigged or not - I don't know, but it sure is strange that some needs to spend thousands of gold to get the item (or not get it), while some gets almost all of them for free. Maybe funzio keeps track of the members who usually spend gold and make it much harder for them, don't know :P but that's not impossible!

This one was almost a give away to me , probaly would have gotten it , IF I had the PATIENCE one more day.

Thats all to it , but again hindsight and speculation doesn't count for anything .
