Beginning defenses...

So I've been getting robbed and all. Although I try to put most of my money in the bank to avoid my losses. What can a level 6 money farmer do to improve his or her environment to prevent getting attacked or robbed?

2) Drop your mafia very low
3) buy some tennis rackets and Ak47s

I currently only have 2 friends on my list so I can't buy an AK47 but I'm stocking up on the rackets. That oughta rack (pun) their faces...I hope?

you don't need more than 25 rackets
same with military goggles

i would save up $40,500 to buy 15 Ak47s then add a bit of mafia, buy 15, drop back down

Well have combat boot been unlocked for you ?

How many steel toe boots have you bought ?
Buy some brass Knuckles and when Stiletto knife get unlocked get them
Get machine Pistol when it get unlocked

Basically buy 10 of everything that's what i did :)

At level 8 you should increase to 40 mafia and equip every one of them with a tennis racket, military googles and AK-47 (I think these are the best defense weapons at your level). You may even consider euiping them with smoke bombs. Why? You would add 80 to your defense (assuming 40 mafia) for only $6k. I don't think you need to waste your money on vehicles at this time. Also, don't go crazy on defense buildings, but buy maybe a dozen guard towers and upgrade them to 4 - 5.

Side note: as a money farmer, you should consider increasing to 50 mafia so you can unlock the MT

keep your economy expanding with Movie Theaters upgrading and then saving for Lofts. at lvl 15 is your next best defense weapon to buy: THE MACE (melee ~ 1/6). i would consider buying a poop load of these. they won't be replaced for quite some time. especially if your leveling very slowly (which it seems thats what you have been doing, no?)

at lvl 22 will be the next best unlock: RIOT HELMET (armor ~ 1/8) this is a VERY good armor weapon and won't be replaced very easily by others for quite some time.

those are the two new unlocks for you to buy (for defense) no new gun unlocks (that are visible to me) that are worth buying for defense

Remember that 'each' member can carry one of 'each' item. Defense will trump attack at the beginning and middle stages. Make sure you have, as mentioned, enough tennis rackets to equip your team, goggles and melee. That should fend off the attacks. I started with 5W and 52L (all inactive) as I wasn't paying attention, nor was I visiting my hood. Once I got involved, I have lost 2 fights and won over 629. Moral of the story, make sure you can fend off attacks to start your 'cash building.' Instead of 'attacking' go to 'rob' and then view their profile. If your attack < their defense, don't fight.

I think there is some truth to buying defensive buildings, albeit, don't go overboard upgrading them.

Yep that what i do but also don't be fooled is there isn't much a difference let say attack is more than defence but only by 5-10 i usually make sure it's at least a difference of 20 to be safe.

@OP - What's your current level and stats?

I'm at lvl8 w/ ~600 defense and ~500 attack.

I rarely get robbed.

I have 45x AK 45x Tennis Racket 45x Gloves

It's weird cause I should only be able to bring into battle 40x of each items - but my extra items count in the attacks...
I've lost 7 fights (actually 3 - I lost 4 attacking someone) and 9 robberies (actually 4 - I lost 5 robbing someone).

EDIT: Those that did beat me was gold spending noobs... they have no idea of what they are doing... they just spent a tone of cash... it's shocking really... they have 1 of each gold weapon... a couple of gold buildings and their hood looks like something out of Hollywood blvd :/
