Selling Barracks

Should I sell my barracks after building the Colosseum? if so how soon? what other things should one consider selling as I advance? I am lvl 24.

there are quests you will need the barracks on because you will need knights and the like to attack monsters/objects. The only buildings I think that are worth selling over time are the cottages, as they just take up space.

I sold my level 2 barracks becos I ran out of space. It doesn't take long to rebuild. 5 mins.

I sold it on my first play day. :) my quest is still on "upgrade barracks to lvl2" lol

You should stockpile a bunch of those units from barracks so that you don't have to worry about not having enough for a quest after you sell the building (they're not that expensive anyway). However, I didn't realize this until I already sold my Barracks so I never tested it out whether or not you still need the actual building built as well. This is probably not necessary, but anyone willing to try this out can post an answer. I wish I thought of this sooner, otherwise I wouldn't have to spend hours of upgrades getting it back in the future because I didn't buy enough of the units before I sold it... facepalm moment all the way. :p

I believe it is just 50% of the level 1 value. Why sell?

I wouldn't sell it given it is level 10 and all the time you invested in upgrading it and you only get gold equivalent to 50% of the cost of the building at level 1. If it was level 1 - 3 and you were really tight for space then I would sell it as the build time is short.

I just sold a lvl 3 cottage for 42 gold while the original price is 30 gold..so it seems that its selling price increases when its at a higher lvl? :)

I think you may be right and it seems to have changed. When I accidently sold my money building last week I got a lot more than expected.
