How to use the spreadsheet?

Ok I cannot find a decent post to show how to use the money buildings spreadsheet. My dilema is just to be able to sort the **** out and figure how to see what is the best building to build and or upgrade next. I see no instructions of what to do, please enlighten me obi wan.
