idk, i always end up with a bunch.

The beginning of the event i only do maps (usually junkyard) then once everyone is up and playin i go back to farming my regular spots (ma sheng & Kane) and do pvp constantly.

Very easy. I have 189 briefcases. Got most of them from PvP and most important thing is to get a lot of fail. Then you will get that much.

I give up. My event has been doing weird ass broken sh!t for a few days now. I use an alarm and when it goes off every 60 minutes I'm either late or early to open the box. Sometimes by a few seconds, sometimes a few minutes, and the timer has been off as far as 20-30 minutes in extreme cases.

That's too bad, I thought obviously broken stuff like that had been taken care of, but clearly it has not been. It will be before I buy any more gold though.

I know I always got a little perturbed when I read posts about players getting the final prize since I was 0 for however many events until this one but it does feel good to get it. At least I can say I got one.

But think the other way. You already have 5 documents, at least you have gained 2 items. I only have 2 documents and I started this event pretty early.

It is MUCH harder to get lots of cases at low level. You have less energy and stamina to burn farming them (meaning you have to be online all the time so your bars aren't full and going to waste). Also, rivals are way less likely to have cases for you for the same reasons.

This was the first event where I was able to actually stockpile cases and still not nearly as many as the high levels in this thread. I started it at about level 28 and finished at 34. I had 33 cases when I finally got my 10th and had been opening with gold for just under the last day.

Got it at last. All this days i opened cases ~18-20 times per day (i start to made it right after the event begin). From 1 to 8 used cash only - it takes ~ 3 days (8 was very hard to get - about 30 attempts). For 9 and 10 used ~1,6k gold (about 500 of tham to reset timer).

Cannot believe I got the 10th! I was extremely unlucky in the begining. I opened 20 times all with medium options just to reach 5 in the first day. Around 20 medium-option opens gave me the 6th in the second day and I've struggling for 7 for more than three days with around 50+ medium-option opens and 6 gold-option opens. I must have been cursed at that time. However, things began to change yesterday when I didn't sleep well. I woke up from 2am to 6am three times and got 7 and 8 with only one fail! And the 9th one arrived in the same morning. With still one day to go I decided to use gold. With around 30 medium/gold-option opens, I finally had last one. So exhausted!

Around 250 gold was spent, and most (~150) are spent for the last one.

Well again on this event I used money every time for the first 5 days checking 12-16 times a day.

Day 1: 5 briefcases
Day 2: 2
Day 3 (early): 1
Days 4-5: nothing

Probably foolishly I decided to try it with gold today. The failure rate seemed high (at least 65%, probably higher). Well 200 gold later I'm still on 8. So screw that.

Timer just ran out (i spent a ton on gold in the last hour using the reset button and 15 gold each time to open)... but my question is since it still says "ends soon!" can I still get briefcases? Because I am all out and ever since the timer ended less than 30 minutes ago I haven't been able to get anymore briefcases from players or by doing jobs that usually gave out tons of briefcases... so does anyone know if I can still find briefcases even though the timer is technically over but the event is still technically going on even though it says it "ends soon"...?

I'm just pressed bc i'm at 9/10 on my main account (which is lv. 79) and i've spent SO much $ just trying to get the last 3 (got one today and got one yesterday, which is rare for me with these events as I usually get them all)... on my other account (lv. 32) I managed to get them all 2 days ago. I seriously feel like they make it harder for higher levels to get the secret docs or whatever the event is offering to reach the higher prizes.

So can someone just tell me----is it still possible to find briefcases if the event timer ran out but the event is still technically active (though saying it "ends soon" doesn't tell us much...)

Yeah, this event completely restored my "fück you Funzio" sentiment.

They were getting better, but with everything that's happening lately, sh!tty customer support, blatant cheaters still running around unchecked, rigged events using a system that should be outlawed...

Oh yeah, that's right. It's a corporation. The only thing corporations care about is making as much money as possible as quickly as possible. Easily done when you sell a virtual product that costs nothing to make and is infinitely renewable.
