Turf War Crates & New Limited items

Noticed new crates and new limited items available...what kind of treats are there? :)

I always get one set of three crates. Here's what I won.

Not terribly exciting crates, especially with rares dropping to 10% chance.

I like the Bouncy Betty LE Explosive though. Very Nice.

I just noticed that the game data version is now 20120430_0 for me with no update from the app page, just opened the game today.

I bought a set of 3 crates, got a Rusty Claw (28a/22d), Slasher (69a/72d) and a Pimp's Roller (133a/109d).
I'm not going to buy more because they are weaker than the previous crates.

Wow 10%! I'm glad I stocked up on red steel crates when the rares were 20%

IIRC that 20% was a weekend special...maybe they will repeat that again with these crates at some point?

Yeah, it was announced as a weekend special that went on for a week.

They got people used to 20%. lol

Hardened shot x 1 ( i think this was the rarest of the lot )

majority of these were single crates.

I would actually like to take this statement back a bit. I didn't really love the items from first glance and the drop back to the old percentages does suck. What is actually nice about these items is that each item would stay an end game item. The only item that can be replaced by an RP item would be the 26 defense on the torture tools with 27 defense on FCG.

The last few crates had a common item that was cringeworthy. For example, the Peace Maker. If you were full M4 equipped and if things stayed the way they are now and you were able to get a full load of RPGs then say goodbye to 50 gold per Peacemaker.

If we get a special on drop percentages again that will make these items more appealing.

I have a vault of gold sitting here waiting to see if they run a special. I made the mistake of buying the previous crates just after they were released and didn't do so well. I think I got 8 Peace Makers out of 12 crates. :(

Stay strong my friend stay strong... I have a hard time letting gold sit there one because I want to buy stuff and two because my 5 year old thought it was cool to check my upgrades and click on the shiny red upgrade now button! I figured it out the second time and now he can only play CC on my wifes Iphone!!!!
