It took me 29 opens using gold - 435 in total.

Well, I'm well chuffed with that outcome inside 2 Days! And the news on what Funzio meant by 65%? Well, I'm now acquiring +5 energy instead of +3, and this is on top of the original 10% reduction in re-charge time. So, they stack. It's pretty awesome! :p:D:p

I have tried various strategies, no gold, all gold, start without gold and then use enormous amounts of gold at the end when entering panic mode!

Both times (this was the second) I have used gold from the start have been far less expensive and ultimately less stressful for me. I've concluded that if you really want to acquire the items then leaving it to lady luck is not worth it. There is plenty of evidence of disappointed players using the free option. Each to their own at the end of the day of course, but I'm more than happy with my current strategy. Next time round it might not be as successful, only time will tell.

Cheers bro! Yeah, I don't know if anyone else has ever reported a quicker result on the forum! Although, Giedrus posted a picture a couple hours before my result of a player he'd come across with the Devil weapon today. Whichever way you look at it though, a result inside 2 days is well...a result! :D

PleAse educate me. Why is this weapon so awesome? Is it for farming on high level maps? For me, it doesnt seem useful as i prefer to camp and i use mainly stamina to rob for rp. Would be nice to have a weapon for stamina increase. Am i missing something?

Now it's 30/5*53=318 seconds. More than half, obviously.

Your math is wrong. Simple calc is that previously you got +3 every 60 sec, now you get +5 every 60 secs...that is actually 66.67% more energy every 60 secs, so is slightly more than the 65% increase advertised.

Man you guys are lucky, i have spent 1600 gold or over $200 to open this event and i feel stupid because i wasted all this money. I have opened over 80 crates and i'm still stuck at 9/10.

I'm real pissed off, because i thought using gold bars i had a higher chance % to get rare paintings.

And i'm one of the players who pay $$ to play, and i dont mind it but i doubt i will be buying gold in future because obviously its not worth it.

With AMG strategy it cost me around 600 gold and I got it roughly 10 hours after AMG. Good value. Before Devil even with my 2400 energy Ma Sheng was painfully slow, literally using my energy was just small part of daily routine, now it's back to game. To complete Ma Sheng for goodfellas before Devil took 56.53 hours or 2.35 days, after Devil 33.92 hours or 1.41 days and I didn't took into consideration level up-replenish. Much better now. Of course it's nowhere near good old farming days but energy is back to game.

11520/(24*3600/53*5)*24=33.92 with Devil's. You would need around 2700e to do that AND get decent sleep :D
