New player need some help farming

Hello all-

I have made it to lvl 39 just messing around off and on and since I have enjoyed the game I check out the forums to see how to play better. I am working on my economy and reading through the guides but have found things like the m4a to be nerfed and need some help on what to farm for weapons at my level. I do not mind buying some gold but on an android phone I can not buy any crates so I am kinda lost at this point. Can anyone point me in the right direction on what to farm for weapons, armour, and vehicles at level 39?

At the junkyard there is a thing called the gray scrap box. It drops a gun with the stats of 4/8 and for only 60 energy this is good for your level. Try this. I think it's the swat pistol

Ill start farming it thanks for the tip. Do I need to buy gold for anything? If I do buy gold what should I spend it on buildings or items? Also what about armour to farm and the next step to farm for weapons?

Best gold buildings are later in the game...Pirate Tavern, Gentleman's Club & Rock Cafe. Church, Wedding Chapel and Adult Movie Store are ok purchases...Smoke Shop is a cheap decent building too.

Another alternative to farm is Junkyard is Muscle Car, it drops Lowrider (6A, 6D) about .94 / 1000 energy.
The Swap Pistol drop 2.67 / 1000 energy, so if you need guns that's better, but I found you get a bunch of guns from PvP. I have 609 Steyr AUG (7A, 6D) from PvP + hundreds of better ones too.

Don't farm Armor until later on, if ever...you will get a ton of Boxing Trunks (6A, 8D) and Police Armor (5A, 14D) from PvP. And you should buy between 200-400 Night Vision Binoculars, best RP weapon in the game.

Later on you can farm Urban Warfare Vests and Empire Central Buses for a $5mm buy-in or the last 2 bosses for RP-type drops every 2 days.
