Effective way to improve attack

Hi everyone, I am at level 122 and I want to improve my attack since my attack is about 8000 with 338 mob member. What is the best and effective way for me to increase my attack? Buying or fighting?

Get Chain Whips with your RP coins and buy explosives. Just get the Attack explosives. You will need to be picky who you attack so that you dont lose them to soon however.

Find Itzkakarots post with his inventory calculator or create one yourself. List all of your equipment and find out where you are lacking the most in each category. Then take a look at the job spreadsheet in the best of the best guide and find a spot that will help you the most (preferably one click jobs). Take a look at the Clothing Store in Empire Arena, the Red Cascade in the Red Light District and as Sez mentions use RP for Chain Whips. You ask what is the best way to improve your attack, buying or fighting well I would suggest the third option = farming.

Buy RP equipment and explosives as Sez already said. If your concerned about continuing to level I would suggest effective RP farming by selective robbing. Choosing buildings that offer a equal or greater value of RP to exp. Lvl 10 Laundromats, Collection Agency, Italian Restaurant, Seafood Restaurant, and of course Lofts are ones I like to hit for RP>exp. there is a good discusion here http://www.funzio.com/forum/showthread.php?14901-Respect-the-buildings-you-rob!!!

You can also do Thug Life and other PvP goals for RP and items but you will level slightly faster, in my opinion it is worth the faster leveling for more RP in conjunction with robbing for RP if you need better items fast. Also TL goals give RP items as a goal reward every five completed goal levels.

With out knowing your economy I cant advice whether it would be effective to buy cash weapons at this point. The RP weapons are far superior IMO and the best ones will last for a very long time. If I know I am going to be camping for awhile I have spent a little cash and bumped up my weakest weapons used for a decent boost in A/D. The downside is these items get replaced later on and that cash spent is gone forever. I buy a lot of attack explosives and simply get selective with who I attack (unless it is a big payday then screw it). Once you figure out what the average stats are that you can beat without loosing explosives you can generally attack/rob with out worries.

Depending on your current inventory, Night Vision Binoculars might be the better option for a very fast upgrade in attack and still a near-end game item...

Can I just say, your total Mafia attack not rising by the full amount of the item you're buying shouldn't disappoint you. Try and aim for 25 Attack for your Mafia through the disciplines (Guns,Armour etc). Ill-equipped Mafia will lose you PvP's and make robbing more difficult.
Build a consistant Mafia, it's good for you!

1) start over and find a top 250 syndicate or better that wants your help for bosses

2) camp till the boss event starts and do it, you should without problem reach 90 bosses on tier 1 and not spend any gold.

3) you'll have like 150k+ def/atk from the individual goals of the bosses and 20-30k+ from the syndicate goals.

4) camp and only build IPH until the next boss event starts and do that one also. You should have like 300k atk/def after that one and be at a low level and be attractive to decent syndicates if you're a active player.

The Syn battles are the best way. I find that the mod's attached to the award items add up quickly to give huge bonuses. I would make sure that you are ina Syn where the IP is balanced and players are active.
