I think there was an 0 for 4 thread, but now who is 0 for 5?

There's still time to get the 10th credit card, but unless a miracle happens I'll end with 9 for the fourth time. The other time I ended with 8. I spent gold during 3 of the 5 events. This time I spent 90 gold for 6 guaranteed opens. Got 1 card by doing that. I haven't expected to get 10 since spending 900 gold trying to get the 10th diamond during the first event. Since then, my goal has always just been to get the second to last prize. Still, it would be nice to get the final prize at least ONCE.

So who else will be 0 for 5? Hopefully some of us will end up editing our posts to say we're 1 for 5 since we got the 10th card at the last minute.

i thought id be 1/5 after 1.5 days i had 8, but since then i havent gotten anything. really thought i had this one but ohwel. i must have horrible luck if i cant get a credit card in 4.5 days, opening at least 18 times a day

0/5 here and its quite draining when you put a lot of time into something and get squat. I can only imagine what the guys who spend lots of RM feel like when the tenth never comes around.

Like doinkent above - i thought I might finish this one after getting 8 cards in just over 1 day. I stupidly thought that I must be able to get 2 cards in the remaining 4 and a half days lol

I had two cards with the first two ATMs I opened, then zilch for a day or more. Eventually made it to eight; I so wanted to get the Crash Truck I even blew some (Tapjoy) gold for the final opening. Didn't work sadly. The rest were a mix of dollar and mostly free openings.

I have my doubts about this as well. I think there are also other factor/factors to that famous Funzio randomness.

This is like a survivor pool, who can be the last person to go 0-fer on these events???? Unfortunately I have dropped out of the bad-luck race, as I finally scored on the ATM event.

Keep it up guys, a new event is right around the corner, I've got faith that Funzio will continue most of your event ineptitude.

0-5 here too, as another poster stated; not for a lack of trying! I usually open between 16 and 18 everyday from the start of event. The fact that i had 2 tries at sig; started with 7 on 2nd go around and spent 400g, and still didnt get it is more then disappointing. It is pretty discouraging, to give it everything and not get final item, ESP when gold is involved.
I am glad they started throwing us a bone with item for 9, but would really like to see at least one of those final items in my inventory.

I too am 0 for 5. (Also haven't spent a dime on these events) Thought I was gonna do it this last time. I had 8 credit cards with 3 days left to go. Finally got the 9th with 2 hours to go. I even spent Tapjoy gold to open the last ATM as the event ended. All I got was 500rp. Sigh. someday...

0 for 5, didn't even get to 9 this time. The events made the game fun again for a while, but if it's impossible to win it gets boring really quick. Not sure there's much point in continuing to play if the only way to be competitive is to camp and not level up.

Why do you consider it "competitive" to camp and be king of the level 8s? Isn't that like a gold medal in the special Olympics?

Hi all. Relatively new to this & have been playing for the last several months. This is my third event. First one I only got to 8/10. However I was very surprise to see in everyone's post that no one had gotten to 10 in the last 2 events. I wanted to post that I actually got both the loaded dice & bank buster using only cash. I just figured that they made the events a little easier but I guess that isn't the case from reading all the posts. Guess I'm one of a very few. Both were won on the last day with about 12 hours left & in both I kept going & found that they keep giving items or cash. I've seen a couple people that I've attacked that had won the loaded dice but haven't come across anyone with the bank buster. Hope this gives some hope for people on the next one. I know I'm looking forward to it & hope my luck continues.
