I say RC first, crates 2nd and PT last.
RC is great and easy to manage.
Crates are fun but risky...
PT is good money but also risky with the collections.

Keep in mind long term gold spending... Income priorities... And PvP priorities.

Rock cafe collection 120k for 175 g every 12 hrs, pirate tavern 100k for 110 g every 8 hrs, pirate tavers seems like a better option to me? Any input?

You can probably pick a time that allows you to collect from the 12-hour building twice a day. Do you think you can make all 3 collections for the 8-hour building?

Those of you looking into buying gold and parlaying that into optimum-paying buildings, here is a metric for you. First I derived level 10 payouts of gold buildings with available data. Then I divided the payouts by collection times to get $/hr. Then I divided that figure by gold paid to get a kind of "return on investment" figure, represented as $/hr per gold spent. Sorting the list, we get:
Pirate Tavern, $3409.09
Gentlemen's Club, $3000.00
Palm Hotel, $1937.50
Rock Cafe, $1571.43
Wedding Chapel, $1173.33

I came up with my list after playing for 2-3 days. I subsequently changed my mind on Techno Club and Empire Theatre. Both are early, lucrative, Type A buildings. Techno Club is especially underrated; take a close look at the upgrade costs vs. income gains. Mansion is a tough sell due to the high ticket cash upgrades but maybe...

I think you should only buy crates if you plan on buying a lot. In the long run, one or two crate items isn't going to make any difference
