Double drop rates for rare items!

Hopefully you guys have seen the pop up notification that the odds for finding rare items in the red steel crates just doubled for the weekend.

Will you give it a whirl or are you gonna save your gold for that 10th event item? Or 9th...or 7th?

Havent seen it yet G, i've restarted several times and nothing. Just goes along with a no show for KA lvl 3 also

I feel I should clarify a bit more. This was more of a push notification advertisement that came up as I was texting. Has the percentage on the crates under the rare tab gone up to 20%? This would indicate that it is effective for you.

Yes i just checked the crates and saw the 20% chance so i assume it worked. Push notifications rarely work for me in this game which is a shame.

That's so kinda lameish. I put 3K gold into this set of crates -_- However I was happy that I got 1 Hind, so whatever. Enjoy to those who didnt get them till now :D

I'll give it a crack, im only on 7 CC's (have been for days) and feel the rare items offer a bit especially if they have somewhat doubled the chances

when did the hardened shotgun stats change to 51/30?? I think when i got mine they were 34/20?

I spent the gold i was saving for the event on these. spent 580 gold on 12 crates and got 3 shikas, 1 launcher, 4 peacemakers and 4 stet masks. 33% rare and 66% common...odd but i'll take it.

Ya i think amg spend a ton and got 2. I've spent almost 2500 now and have 1. Quite common indeed.

Ain't I lucky today? Just bought 220 gold as I was at 9 CC and felt the cash only option won't be enough. Opened 1 ATM and got the Bank Buster. Spent the remaining gold on 4 crates and got 2 rares. Now it is time to go out and enjoy the lovely weather :-)

Correction, 3K gold, and I got 1 Hind, no hardened shotgun, I just thought that was weird.

even if you havent gotten the popup u should see that its now 20 percent chance to get a rare item as a pose to 13 percent

Before you had 13 rare ; 31 uncommon ; 56 common and now it is 20 rare ; 15 uncommon ; 65 common? I liked my chances before of 44% getting an uncommon or better...

2 hardened shotgun ( i didn't get any skill points)

The points would have been added to your attack points automatically instead of how it happens when we level up.

The first thing I saw was that the common drop rate was up as well, kind of cancels out the rare rate going up. If Rare/uncommon had gone up and common had gone down that would be different.

Very much so mate... I really dont like all this "chance" stuff.

To be honest it is starting to ruin the game for me. It's frustrating. If I want to play a game of chance I'll go to my local bookies thank you very much.

I bought a set of 3, got 2 masks, and peacekeeper. I then bought one more, what ya know, mask. The shotgun def has a lower drop rate within the 60%, no doubt. I got one and like 8 masks and 5 peacekeepers, lame.
Say no to crates!:)

i had 200 before i got the 10 credit card when i got the tenth it went up to 300. when i got the 2 shotguns from the creates it still stayed at 300 att. ( i brought the creates after i got my tenth credit card) .

Very much so mate... I really dont like all this "chance" stuff.

To be honest it is starting to ruin the game for me. It's frustrating. If I want to play a game of chance I'll go to my local bookies thank you very much.My thoughts exactly Joey!

It seems that the new strategy for funzio is to employ a lot of frustration to lure a lot of us who will spend a little bit of gold to get ahead.

Some customer appreciation would be nice...or even a "we appreciate you" event!

Sounds to me like they changed the specs after the fact.

Cc Mark was asked and said they gave + 5 skill points, I would check his comments and copy/paste them in your reply to That response. Of course that assumes he didn't go back and edit that post.
