I feel like I should be upgrading

So, I'm currently at level 129 and my second Hotel is under construction. My plan is to build 2 Office Buildings when they become available at level 135. The thing is that I just don't know how long that will take. I have a rough idea of how long it'll take me to save up the cash. I'm currently making roughly $4 million per day, so it would take me say a week to save up to buy my first Office Building.

The general rule of thumb around here is that you should always be upgrading something though, so is it wise for me to NOT upgrade anything for at least a week while I'm saving up and also leveling up for an Office Building?

I sold all of my low level buildings and this is all I have at the moment:

I just feel like I should be upgrading some of the cheaper ones, but every time I spend money on an upgrade, that just means it'll take longer to save up for my Office Building.

Upgrade a Loft or MT. Those are my favorite buildings.

Just finished my first Upscale Club, huge impact on my income/hr!

I agree with pikachu, it helps that those upgrades take a long time. The MTs will be cheaper and longer.

I'm upgrading my Crematorium now, because it's relatively cheap and takes awhile, so it really doesn't hinder my saving up for L2 Nightclub. The other thing you can do is level your Gatlings to L2 or L3...I know upgraded defense isn't worth as much, but it does do something and you're at least upgrading something.

I don't even have gatling guns. Never saw the need for them. I sold everything so I didn't have to buy any more expansions. I'll still have to expand a few more times once my office buildings are done though since eventually I plan to build nightclubs, casinos and possibly palm hotels.

Kinda wishing I didn't sell everythng now though. I still have som fairly cheap upgrades I could do like the brownstones, Zeuses, Beachsides and even the churches aren't overly expensive.

I guess the question is would it be better to upgrade now and now build an office building as soon as I hit level 135 or just bank everything now and hopefully build 2 office buildings back to back? I could always upgrade as much as I can right now and THEN start saving for an office building once I actually reach level 135. Not quite sure what to do right now.
