The crate is a one time use thing, that gives you one (or 3 if you buy the set) of the items listed when you press the blue i. You keep the item you get forever, and if you are lucky you will get a rare item :D

n00b here :confused: I tried to find the answer in some guides and FAQ threads but am going blind so lemme just cut to the chase. :p

I figured the "Red Steel Crates" would be the best place to spend my Tapjoy gold :P and I got two Commons and one Uncommon weapons. However the two commons are the exact same weapon i.e. a "Peace Maker". Are the stats "stackable"? Or did I basically just get two crates and not three? (since I have the same item I assume it's stats aren't gonna help me) Thanks!

Me thinks I-did-bad buying an iPhone :( I want my life back :D

Each mafia member carries 1 of each category. So, it's not a useless item if you got 2 of the same item. You can have and use up to 500 of the same item with max mafia.

Whoa thanks for the speedy reply :) --- Ok thanks I think I get it now :p = it won't change my Total Mafia Attack/Defense stat but its still used -- now I just need 498 more LOL :D

It will raise your stats. They are stackable and the stats add too.

Absolutely, you know how sometimes you can tell your avatar/account is feeling "lucky" I.E., high payout on jobs, good loot items, well I had that moment and dropped 650 on red crates, came out with 7 rare items including 2 helicopters, these crates are awesome!! Especially with the 20% chance of receiving a rare item...
