Top toolbar:

Forum Action -> edit profile -> then lower left on screen should be option for editing avatar. You will likely have to resize it. I think 150x150 is the limit.

Took me a while to figure it out aswell, a real pain to make it work aswell

Edit; just noticed that my avatar is flipped to the side, when I log on the forum from my computer then it's not turned sideways.. Bummer... How does the picture look like from your point of view?

indeed o_0 had to resize like 30 times and then convert image to gif...

Looks normal. You are standing upright and not to the side.
