Morning all! Been inspired by Aidan (thanks for the PM; will reply) to start another of 'those' threads.
Thought it might be fun and useful to catalogue the jargon used on this forum and in the game. Please provide any acronyms, expressions, jargon etc that you use AND explain it! Feel free to also invent any new terms that you think might be useful - as I am going to do to get the ball rolling. I will summarize the whole thing later if it is a success...

'doing a Stricker' - any unexplained absence from the forum for more than 2 days!

Have fun!

OT = off topic and can also mean on topic..
Pvp = Player vs player
Pve = Player vs environment
Devs = Developers
FNG = F***ing New Guy
MW = Modern War
CC = Crime City
A = Attack
D = Defence
E = Energy
S = Stamina
G = Gold
LLP = Low Level Player
HLP = High Level Player
Noob = New person
ATM = At The Moment
Ally = Alliance Member (that one is just common sense I hope..)
GJ = Good Job
WTG = Way To Go
Grats = Congradulations
Lvl = Level
SP = Skill Points

When someone says for example (2*370) that means it takes 2 hits and 370 energy per hit to attack and finish that target or mission.

Will add more later

Off base - be mistaken, on the wrong track, wrong
Fat finger - hit the wrong key on your device, often with costly results
Grunt - unsolicited, unwanted, much derided extra ally (aptly, sounds like c**t!)

OT Gremlin - when someone just goes around posting non-sense "off topic" comments just to increase their post count or in an effort to see their name on the end of every post late at night :)The guard against the OT Gremlin is to not post after them or ever ever ever reply with a quote :)

Flanner--accepted by the Oxford English dictionary as a synonym for a brain fart. Usually has the connotation of being somewhat wet and messy, to boot.
