No worries, I've done it before and probably still do sometimes.

Best way to test your +40 attack skill would be to attack rivals who are stronger than the rivals you normally attack. If you still win all the time and/or don't lose explosives then it made a difference, IMO.

I have 8 too, all with cash option. The stats of the main prize are amazing, and bonus +40 to Attack Skill will make diffirence if your attack rating is close to you rivals defence. More daring strikes, I presume. :)

That was a VERY hard event, nothing compared to the past event.

I got probably more than 80 attempts(all with mid option) opening ATM to get to 10.

The CC number 8 took more than 2 days to get.

The number 9 i got 14 hours ago, so the number 10 took 14 attempts.

I really put some good effort on this event, and i finally got it.

Dont lose your hope ! Still have 1d:10h to go.

I've mostly been burning gold to open...and I set a timer each hour. Myself, I wonder if my huge stash of unopened ATMs is changing my odds! Currently, I have 245 unopened ATMs.

LOL...funny you should say that. I "rationalized"spending gold because I can drop 2k in Vegas and write it off as just having fun. Too bad I just filed my taxes.

I personally think there is something to the urban legend that states the more unopened boxes you have the less likely you are to find a credit card. My situation is unusual because I have over 250 unopened boxes (now). I think my failure rate is much worse than others have experienced. (is that correct?)

What are people's opinion about having too many unopened boxes? I did get the loaded dice in the last event although I paid gold to get that as well. It was much easier in my experience. What is different now is that I have a Hoard...Hoard of unopened ATMs. (240 unopened ATM)

I got my 10th CC! Been stuck at 8 for two days and 9 for one day. After getting 8, I decided to spend 15 gold to boost my chance. It seems that the 9th comes easier than the 8th. After getting the 9th this noon, I received a heavy blow that Barca lost to Real Mardrid, so I tried my luck using gold option. The 10th CC poped up after the first open!

This is what I have been doing for the last two events, where I got the final items in both. (I spent more than $40 in the event before last but got nothing...) Open more than 16 per day and all with mid-options until 8. Use only one gold option from 8 to 9 to show to the server that you intend to spend gold. :) If you are lucky enough to get 9 with more than 1 days left, start using gold options to open the rest.

After 9, chance of failure to open increases and chance of CC out of loots decreases drastically, which makes it harder to receive the final CC. Don't waste each precious open after 9, spend money to ensure the first chance decreases to 0, and just rely on the second chance (Hope Funzio is not that greedy...). I don't recommend resetting timers b/c this looks desperate and you'll feel rather disappointed if you don't get the final item.

Maybe it's not meant to be. During the Diamond Sig/Lockbox event I had 9 diamonds for 7 straight days. Well over 100 boxes successfully opened, all of them containing loot, cash, and respect. I was not meant to have a Diamond Sig.

I wish you luck anyways, but just try to remember it's not a sure thing.

In this event i got some luck opens.

But unfortunately i dont log the entire progress.

But that i remember(and saw in my inv) i got 4x 125k, 2x 25k, 11 enhanced bikes, 5 batons, 5 armored vests, 4 hammers, 4x 500 RP.

But FINALLY, holy shi*, in the past events i got SO many unlucky points. Emerald event for example i got 25 consecutives fails.

I just opened my 98 ATM with no credit card! This is only for #9! I wish I could sue somebody! Hardly feels random.

I keep wondering... for the people that have opened number 9 and number 10 how many unopened ATMs did you have at the time of the opening. Likewise, how many of you that it had great difficulty opening #9 and #10, how many unopen ATM did you have at the time.

The fact of the matter is, most of us will accumulate unopen ATMs as we get closer to number 9 and number 10 CC. I think it might be useful if people just stated their experience with respect to when they were able to find the desired target and the status of unopened boxes. I just want to see if I can formulate some hypothesis on the algorithm that they use to find credit card. If there is some trend it might be possible to leverage that knowledge to increase our odds of finding credit cards. BTW I do this sort of thing for a living. :-)

It depends I think. I do have something in mind. Keep in mind that the goals of the developers is to keep people engaged in the game. Strong players that have resources (from success) are more likely to continue to "fight" to get what they want to better themselves in the game. A subset of these will be aggressive enough to spend money get what they want. If it is perceived that they can get what they want by spending money, making the odds slightly worse for them might mean that they can extract more money from them. Other players that are not as competitive or lose more might not tolerate such abysmal statistics and into developers may compensate to keep them in the game. I hate to say it but it would be how I would be thinking about an algorithm that would be able to extract the most amount of money from the people that play the game. I think you get the idea. It's just a thought though.

You might say that I am an aggressive player. I've only been playing the game for a few weeks and I am on level 83, have 11,147 attack, 10,750 defense, have lost less than 1% of all fights and lost less than 0.20% of robberies. I've got a history of spending cash for gold. As a developer trying to extract money from me....I'm an easy target! The ones that get discouraged more easily could would never open 97 ATMs and continue to play! Yes, I realize that makes me a bit of a pidgeon. I will change my strategy after this to see if my luck will change. I think I might be hosed for this game. (I now have 279' unopened ATMs.). Feels like that has hampered me but I can't say for sure why my success rate has been so horrible.

Stuck on 8 still. Must have gone through another 18-24 attempts this weekend, so I am at least gone through 50 ATMs attempts and not gotten a single CC. All Cash. This definitely does not feel very random.
