PvP Rank Item?

I notice that the unit is indestructible. Is this for us to use valor instead of gold for an indestructible unit?

Seems pretty low value for the cost.

For example, the PVP Rank Item 4 in sea is 22/21 but costs 50,000 gold.

The same in stealth frigrates would yield 181 with a combined 5611/3258. I do understand that they can be lost, but the difference is a .39% ratio. Not so good.

Is this number somewhat skewed or perhaps a first run at it?

Just saw those too - two indestructible units for 50k and 100k valor. Very pricey. They're PvP rank item 4 and 6.

I agree that the stats seem low for such a high cost. Perhaps if they cost 5000 Valor versus 50,000, then it would seem more in line with in-game inflation. The trade-off is whether you want a total of higher stats by buying more of the regular Valor units already in the game or go for the indestructible attribute with MUCH lower stat benefit.

Seems like they need to take the last Zero off the Valor cost of each of these units. In other words, they seem to be only worth 10% of what the current asking price is :) and the stats need to be boosted by 50%. That's just my own personal perceived value, which again begs the question if the Devs actually play this game with the conviction that we do, or if they have a strict drug dealer policy of "don't get high off you're own supply" - LoL

Another option would be to increase the valor rewards by 10x

Looked at PvP item 7 @ 200.000 valor = 77a/61d
For that amount of valor spent on Super Hornets = 20556a/14846d (without country or boost bonus)

I don't get it. Being indestructible can't justify that kind of difference, can it?
Or is there some other advantage? Why are the items called PvP Rank items???

It is a great idea to get more PvP action but the costs do seem really high vs things such as SH's and SF's.

I thought it was a typo, dropping the last zero would make sense or is this a red erring to get folks to buy gold units as they now seem a lot more cost effective such as the container loot for 50 or 3 for 145 gold.

IMO they look like perks for heavy gold players that have tens or hundreds of thousand Valor lying around.
As a free player,I definitely think valor is better spent on S Hornets.
I was curious to see if the valor drops had gone up for PVP, as they are called PVP rank units. I did a bunch of attacks prior to coming here and didn't see any Noticable difference.

No change in drop rates but loss rates seem to have gone up slightly to try and force folks away from SH's and SF's.

Has anyone actually tried buying them? Is this the cost of each unit or the initial cost to unlock the ability to purchase the unit at a different cost afterwards.

I know I asked for better valor units in the Friday feedback, but this cost is not cost effective in any way.

the rank 7 plane cost 200,000 valor points, if you average that you get 2,000 points for 'valor point missions' and each missing has an average lets say of 18 attacks, you would have to do around 100 missions meaning 1,800 attacks to come by the 200,000 neened for that unit and it is not worth it

any one getting 200,000 valor points would be better off buying hornets, frigates and m270s

Each valor point is worth like 5.5k, so the cheapest valor unit at 50,000 is like a 275mil unit. Awesome.

I'm level 33 and got 5k saved in valor...long way to go lol

They increased the valors reward a bit. Noticed tht when i was attacking today. 10 attcks cn net u bout 90-120 valors.

But still the price of the pvp item is ridiculously high n pointless considering the lame A/D stat. I wouldnt buy it even if i hv 400k valors saved.

I'd totally agree with most people here, I'd rather the S Hornets 200,000 divided by 350 is a lot of S Hornets.

90 gold or so gets you a unit of the same power.

I posted this before, but in the last week i tested PVP a few times and i lost per fight ~200,000 in cash and ~100 valor per fight lost. i have plenty of meat sheilds, but they don't come to battle anymore as my army is being filled with ever better units.

I think you always get Valor as long as win its the little medal thing and when you go to buy units the amount you have is on top right corner

Haha, yeah I'm well aware what valour is and how to get it, just not exactly how much you get from where. I know you get slightly more from radiing defense buildings, but thats about it. I thought you got it from all successfull attacks and raids (barring cash buildings) but these two events described above prove me wrong, and I'm sure I've noticed picking up a point or two from cash buildings before.

I bought hornets, stealth frigates and m270's to bump the stats a little to keep some pests away. The valor goals increase as you do them. I get 2k+ from each as I PVP now but to spend it on a theory test is still a waste. Let us see what they say first.

That would be a good idea but they probably just put the rank in there from lowest value unit to highest.

Also where is #8? Every other unit has 2 except for sea and I think the cost of that would be frightening!

Also, since the top prize from the last event was a valor bonus for attacking only, they seem to be pushing us in that direction. So, valor bonus + new high end valor units = something is afoot, in my opinion.

Didn't see it said industry table anywhere but I will never own any of them as a free player because they are way out of my league in cost and I would be too worried I would lose them again,from my point of view they are just for the gold boys as they are the ones that can earn that much. I will be camping at 69 for about 3 years anyway.

I try to attack only very low stat rivals (4th to 3rd of my attack) to prevent loss of high value (valor) units. I get anywhere between 1 and 10 valor. Did a little sampling: it averages just above 5 valor (20 attacks).

Do you attack relatively higher def rivals? That could be a reason for higher reward. Also your higher level could maybe be a reason for higher reward

After you level up, new valor missions become available, rewarding up to 2k of valor at some point. At least that's what I understood from comments from other players. I'm now getting max 1k for valor missions (@level 69). But the number of valor missions are limited per level.

In your goals folder on the left there is nearly always a Valor mission like force degradation or invasion 69 or whatever saying win 5 battles against lvl 24 players. When you get higher the rewards get bigger

Yo - OK - if you look up at your assigned missions, there are some they say: "defeat 25 Rivals with 100 or more Allies" or "defeat 35 rivals that are level 62 or higher". Those missions pay out several hundred Valir points.

Since I had backed off on PvP for a while, last week when I finally unleashed on my rivals list, I was "accidentally" completeing all of the behind the scenes Valor missions and at level 92 - I was catching up on missions that I hadnt completed from back in level 80's - so like every 3rd attack, I was getting those congratulations messages on those missions and getting like 700 valor each time. So if you're camping out - once you go on the offensive, you will rack up thousands of VP without even trying.

New Valor units gone from my store. Did anyone buy any of them and do you still have them? I have the valor but thought it was way to expensive. Good idea but they need to rethink cost and the rollout of them.

Just wondering how many people who are free players have that kinda valor hanging around - even with a 150k thats barely three units, so can't see it making a huge difference unless they reprice.

Wonder what the objective here is - bring some inflation into the game? Shake up the PvP scene?

These were most likely a mistake. The names are generic and make no sense, and the cost in valor vs. the stats also made no sense. Somebody mixed up the dev vs prod server or put something out before it was ready. As for what they are intended to be, who knows. Maybe new loot. Or maybe they are trying to figure out how to push the "part number 9" item out. Or maybe nothing. :)

The only way these valor units would be worth it if they were boost units like the crates are. 200,000 valor for a crap unit that reduces cost of buildings or time by 20% would be worth it. As it is now however I can't imagine anyone purchasing any of the new units.
